This was so helpful. Like you, I need to see a video instead of looking at a book. You've given good instructions for someone who wants to try to make one of these lovely wall hangings!

Charisma, love this technique, this is definitely something to add to my must accomplish list. Lol. However I wanted to ask you if we can use fabric instead of wool, I have tons of fabric and recycled clothes, so I was wondering if that would be possible and will it hold. A comparison tutorial would be awesome. Thanks and great job.

Hi Twilight Diamond Girl, I haven't thought of that. I think you will be fine to use fabric scraps...you will just need to use a fusible web when you adhere it to the background. You also won't get as much dimension. I will see what I can do about making one from fabric scraps for you. :)

To me these are screaming to be individual pins. Pretty as grid on a quilt but it would be so great to wear them!

Do you have 2 pennies stacked on each other? You mention pennies are one and one half inches. What size for base and top for round pennies shown on your quilt? So pretty! Want to try making a quilt hanging with the round pennies. Thank you.

Hi Sharon I stitch them down with a thin thread the same color before I start embroidery.

Hi Sallie, thank you so much! I quilted pebbles on my longarm. If you look through the lessons..there is a lesson on finishing and I actually have it loaded on my longarm so you can see me quilting them. There is also another video showing an alternative design to add to the background. Let me know if you need me to post links for you. Have a great day...💗
