Let's MAKE them popular. I wear mine out occasionally when it's cold.. I could care less if I get strange looks. I can't imagine I look any LESS ridiculous than half of these dudes with man buns and skinny jeans..

I made my own "cardigan" with a big hood on it. I get strange looks, but I honestly don't care. Denmark is a small country, but people here will stare at anything that's out of the ordinary. I wear medival style pants too that are loose in the top half, but tied or tight near the feet. Looks like a pair of Shaolin monk pants, I just love the added freedom of movement. And the addition of my hood just makes me stand out so much more, which isn't the point, but I just wear what I want. I mainly make a living from home, which means I don't have to dress a certain way for my boss. Halloween was fun since no one seemed to care, except people would take pictures of me openly because they thought it was some kind of costume 😂 Be brave and bold. Life is not about making random strangers content. I've heard all the jokes, it only gets funnier when you confront people who make random remarks (not confronting them aggressively, of course. But playing along, people usually just think they're funny)

Cozy anywhere
Beautiful! I’m Choctaw and most indigenous Americans wear blankets whether Pendleton or Whitney Point. I love them so much I don’t wear coats anymore unless I’m kayaking. Truly the wool is the best technology
I love wool. Best for all weather conditions even when soaking wet. Thank you for the video and the traditional tutorial!

Rediscovering wool. Didn't realize it's so amazing
Just used your trick sitting outside at 20º (in a chair). Put the hood so there was only a little crack for fresh air, so the damp cold air was warm by the time I breathed it. Didn't want to go out in the damp today, so thanks for keeping me outside. Later it will be raining.
I keep returning to this video. Thanks a lot! :)
This is a really good video. I find it really interesting to see the answers other cultures have arrived at for the same problems. This looks like a really good system!

Thanks! I am always looking for new ways to use wool blankets. People think I am crazy when it comes to wool.
Nice technique. I watched a few other wool blanket systems, and they all were poking holes in their blankets, to keep it shut. I knew there was a better way. Thanks!

Check out the reallybigmonkey1 video about the subject. Apparently there are 3-4 different ways to pin a blanket without poking a hole in it.
Thank you for sharing this! I very much appreciate the effort you put in. :)
Oh, thank you for that. That was a very interesting/different take on the wool blanket as a robe. It looks effective especially when locked in place with the bag shoulder strap. I will try it.
I'm sitting around in my house dressed like a monk. Pretty cool . 😎
best video on using a blanket as a clock , without pinning it. Thanks
Really great video...good for summer or fall here in Canada....don't know how efficient it would be in winter, depends on what you're doing I guess. I have been thinking about wool blankets alot lately. Must be something God's put on ourind.
Good ideas! I make a poncho out of wool blanket by folding in half and cut small hole for head at centre of fold and sometimes stitch it

Thank you for bringing ideas to the community. I truly appreciate having techniques from (old) new cultures.
thank you for this.. i was about to turn my wool blanket into an anorak.. i much prefer using these methods and saving the blanket for multipurpose.. thanks again
Thank you. I just got a few wool blankets so I can go out into the bush and meditate, wool would be so much better than my sleeping bag. less room, less wieght, good insulation and dryness factor. Also, good for a pack system for the second blanket, wrap belongings fold and sling over shoulder. Thanks for sharing, was helpful, have been playing with my blanket today to feel how comfortable it will be.Especially to block mosquitoes..
Really good tips, thanks Monk.
Even in a wool blanket this guy will still kick your ass

Awesome and unique demonstration! This would be a great way for me to wear my "throw" during the cooler seasons here in Rhode Island, US. I can quickly grab some firewood outside! Praise God that you have heard His magnificent calling on your life. Blessings!

Very cool. This is very similar to the roman toga or paludamentum. You see Roman statues that have the very same wraps.

Thanks so much for posting. I've seen quite a few videos on the wool blanket and you have presented several new ideas. The idea of using a string or twine to close the hood is so simple that I'm surprised that I haven't seen it before or that I didn't think about it.
This is a great video! Thanks so much!
