Woodturning - Resin And Its Better Half

Welcome to today's woodturning project! I haven't turned a goblet since a long time, so I made one. I combined bamboo sticks and resin. The project went well, except the sanding. It was pretty complicated to sand it down, since I couldn't apply any pressure. The resin wasn't as clear as I wanted to be, but it turned out pretty interesting, in my opinion.

I don’t understand why it’s not purple.

I would have placed those sticks in a way that staggered them every other other one that way each side wouldn't necessarily be a side. Too uniform for my liking. But I do love the technique brother. Turn on homie!

Very cool but I think you would have been better off doing right half wood on bottom then left half wood on top or some form of spiral pattern perhaps
