Woodturning - Chaos Infinity (inspired by Malcolm Tibbetts)

Carrying on with the Organised Chaos theme, I make a segmented Infinity symbol from various species of wood with over 1500 segments, it was finished with Danish Oil ..The timbers used - Purple Heart, Oak, Meranti, Zebrano, Spalted Beech, Ash, Elm, Walnut, Tulip, Maple Burr and Wenge..
I was inspired to try this after checking out the unbelievable segmented work by Malcolm Tibbetts

Masterful work as always Andy. I offer a Tentative schedule to those wanting time. Day one is mill work, milling wood to length then cutting it to the right size. Day two gluing up the rings, with 12 different woods in a specific patterns it takes time to get it right. Day three sand and cut into wedges. Day four sand and glue donuts up. Because of the mounting issues day five and six turning. Day seven cut and sand. Day eight glue final set up. Day nine sand and finish. Gluing can add time to the project, but should be a decent guess. A solid 2 week project condensed into a 13 minuet video.
