Woodturning - A World Map Lamp Project (With Xtool S1 40W Laser Engraver)

In this woodturning video I will transform some sapele hardwood into a one-of-a-kind world map lamp with the help of the Xtool S1 40W laser engraver and its rotary attachment. After careful design planning I made a cylinder from what I was able to insert in the rotary attachment to cut the world map into. Then ocean blue resin was filled into the voids and turned on the lathe. Last but not least LED strip light was added to bring he project alive.

Hi 👋, David , great looking project, but can I still make this as I live in a upside down world 🌍 😂, I can make and turn the cylinder, but I cannot afford €4000 for the Xtool S1 , 😢, I will have to hand carve it instead, 😂, I am looking for project that I can make to sell, next year, I don’t have very much time, less than 6 days, 😂, Merry Christmas, happy New Year, 🥳, great looking job, Phil.
