Turn Your PASSION Into PROFIT: How To Make Money With Laser Engraver or Laser Cutter (Any Budget)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video you will learn some tips and tricks on how to make money with laser engraver and laser cutter of any type and any budget range. I will show you which type of laser is the best for a certain job and what kind of products you can make with each type of laser engraving machine. We will get through diode laser engravers ranging from 5W entry level budget(200$) all the way to the state of the art 40W octa-diode laser cutters. You will also see what you can do with a CO2 laser cutter and a galvo fiber laser and I will compare their performance to a diode laser engraver. And we will also give you some tips on how to create professional looking vector designs without any special knowledge of using complex graphical design software. So, fire up your laser and let's catch some business opportunities and make some solid money!

Fiber lasers can't engrave wood or similar fibrous materials at all. Diode is much better for that. You also can't cut stuff with a fiber laser other than a very thin metals (up to about 0.3mm thick) and it takes many passes. Also check the video description for a link to my website article, there a lot more pros and cons are listed for each laser type.

It was my understanding CO2 lasers have a farther focal distance than diodes, therefore they have a longer "in focus" range than diodes... Think of it like a long hour Glass and a short hourglass. The longer our glass will have more area in the middle than the shorter one. Which is why CO2 lasers can cut thicker material and engrave things with more variance in height than a diode, like tumblers that have the big "step" in the middle.

  • @JTMakesIt

Diode lasers can't cut transparent and white acrylic. But K40 is a terrible laser. Cheap but very small and needs a lot of tinkering to make it work well. You should check my reviews of CO2 lasers.
