This was good to see. Usually there are is a jig that fits the tool rest allowing the turner to do something similar with a thin parting tool but the bandsaw is a great alternative. Thanks for sharing!! 👍🏾

Wow. It's amazing the way all the rings are lined up perfectly. When I saw it in the thumbnail I thought he'd turned it out of a solid block of wood.

That is absolutely BRILLIANT!! Wondered how those very thin strips would make a several inches tall bowl, but you had thought it all through and worked out every detail and angle, you sir have an amazing brain.

Considering you made it from scrap, it is stunning how efficient your design was in using the material. I guess you made 45 (or 135) degree cuts and then used the lathe to remove a bit more material on the outside bottom and inside top to get a nice slope on the bowl instead of a conical section?

Petit conseil. Essaye de trouver des briques réfractaires, c'est petit mais très lourd et ça peut s'empiler facilement pour faire du poids 😊😉. Vidéos tjs au top sinon 😇👍

The bandsaw table is tilted 45°. The width as to be the same as the thickness of the ring.

très jolie recyclage de chute. pour info tu incline ta ruban de combien pour pouvoir executer ce collage? cela fonctionne t il avec un angle plus faible? merci et bonne continuation
