Hello everyone! I didn't put music in this one, just the sound of tools, or if you want you can watch it with your own music. Let me know what you like the most, if I put music or I leave it up to you when watching.

I prefer without music because we can hear you working with your tools.

I like to hear natural sounds of you working!
Giant lightbulb from firewood sticks! I like this a lot. Thanks for sharing.
You are on a level all by yourself!
Son, you are a very talented, persistent woodworker. Beautiful job!
Where most people would see only a stack of firewood, you saw a work of art. That, my friend, is true genius!

My Grandfather was a master cabinet maker back in the day God rest his soul and he passed his love of woodworking on to me but I never went with it after marrying and raising 3 alone, just couldn't afford it. But with you tube and being able to see all of the many skilled crafters out there it's been a satisfying watch...then finding your video I realized that you are a master crafter of unusual talents!! Using the camera angle inside your project is a first and totally mindblowing. Piecing together the wood and creating your amazing one of a kind artwork leaves me in awe. Looking forward to seeing more of your talents here!!
Man you do not have any idea how much I appreciate your work. It is nothing to do with vase but with material. We all know majority of people works with oak, walnuts, pine ect. So hard to find video with fruit tree like apple, pear, mulberry ect. Thank you so much to show me structure of pear wood!!! I personally love look of white mulberry tree. Such beauty wood. Natural yellow lemonish colour.
LOVE THE VIEW FROM INSIDE THE VASE. PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO THAT IN FUTURE PROJECTS.
I watch several other KZread woodworkers and you are the best by far!
I can't believe you made that out of what most people would have thought was fire wood. Well done.

Every time he sliced off bits of the branches, I thought the scraps'd make great kindling. I wonder if he does that or just keeps bits forever.
You bring a unique visual perspective to woodturning. Magnificent piece.
From sticks to stunning! Very nice work and creative camera angles, especially the inside-out view!
Beautiful. Your segment work is second to none.
Olivier how absolutely stunning and amazing, this vase is magnificent and breathtakingly stunning. I love segmented work.
That was amazing when you put the camera inside the spinning lathe!
Very beautiful Olivier!!! Great job making and turning it Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
Love the cat!
Beautiful!! A wonderful project brilliantly executed. And I love that camera shot inside the vase!! A great bit of turning and a great bit of film making. What's not to like?
Beautiful! I love the camera inside the work perspective! Congratulations on another 1st! I've never seen that before 👍😁
It totally amazes me that anyone would give you a thumbs down on your work. It may not be the way I would do things, but it is the way you did it and it turned out beautifully. Keep up the good work.

You have made your point!
Olivier Gomis Good Idea !!! I like this video
Great work, and as others mentioned, love the unique camera angles !!
Magnificent!

Pear is such a joy to turn, and it has so much character and depth when finished. I like the way you used the small branches to create enough segments for that vase. And the walnut (?) end ring really complements it nicely. Is that a 40/40 grind you're using? Where did you learn turning?
Perfecto!!👍gracias a tu video. Eeh..realmente eres nivel dios!, maestro

Wow. I wish I could do stuff like this.
Your talents, it seems, are not limited to the wood. Cool camera angles. Especially the shot from inside the vase. Took a bit to figure out how you pulled that off. Gorgeous finish on it as well. Mark
Cool
awesome
Every time I'm about to give up on millennials ever-mounting to anything along comes someone like you, well ok, maybe not someone who is as talented as you are in woodworking lol, I haven't seen anyone even close as good as you are at your age, but thank you, you give me hope that are still young folks who still have awesome talent, work ethics and a high level of craftsmanship.
Good job
Brilliant work, Oliver👍 What is this little lathe?

Were you wearing safety glasses while turning? Since you were not speaking during the time you were turning that beautiful piece it would had been far safer to wear a full face shield while turning it. It is a wonderful finished product.
You got a bird nests on your chess lol
9:20, nice beard you got going on there :) I think pear wood fits your projects perfectly, nice wood to show off the curves due to it being not overly wild in grain pattern This one looks a bit like a light bulb, maybe you could turn it into a lamp?
Opa queria saber qual resina vc usou? O acabamento ficou top
Oh no! The call is coming from _inside the vase!1_
That camera shot inside the bowl is great! How did you do that? I’d like to try it in my videos.

What brand is you wood lathe you used.
hola puedes decirme de donde eres gracias
Oliver, what is the name of your table saw?
How much piece like that go for?
I was looking at some of these on eBay . Apparently there’s some folks out there that have no clue what these are worth. I saw some sell for like $5 one even for a dollar.😞 this is why the woodworking craft is dying. Hours and hours of work for $5 ?? Na lol . I won’t let my work go that cheap . My time is worth something to me. So is my costs to make it. Lol anyway rant over but good work my friend. Charge for it! It’s worth it!
You can make it as lamp shade stand
Now do something cool with the offcuts 🤔
