I finally found time to assemble my new sawmill. I made some mistakes, but I also made some nice 2" slabs.
Жүктеу.....

I have watched several of these. Yours is the best and most educational one I’ve seen you are very careful with every procedure you did. Love the gas can…I have 3 of them. They are great. I’m getting a trailer with mine. Hope I can find an assembly video where they do as great a job as you have done here!👍👍❤️

Your log stops need to be on the same side as the drive wheel. Have fun with your mill 🤗
@GrumpyToadCreations

My problem is that's the side that I load from, and my winch post drops into the log stop holders. That's why they're flipped, but I know the blade should be cutting towards the stops. I'll probably put em back the correct way and just keep one turned for the winch.

@@GrumpyToadCreations if you put your mill on from the other end and push the mill the opposite way, this would not be an issue from the side you load your logs. You put the mill on backwards from every other video i have seen! I just ordered my mill though, on the truck now lol

Get yourself a torque wrench. When I got mine they said snug and 2.5-3 turns. I kept throwing blades. Finally they sent me the new instructions that said what the sticker on your mill says. As far as the cover, let them know about it and their customer service should take care of it. They replaced the blades that messed up with my 126. That was two years ago. Enjoy your new mill. I love mine.

I don’t know whether you heard me or not but I was cheering for you trying to get up that ramp I would’ve helped you, but I couldn’t make it today. If you hadn’t put off another day, I could’ve made it there to help you. I hope everything from now on goes really smooth. For you. Stay safe God bless 🇨🇦✌️

Looks like you have everything set up. Only two things you need is two cut logs to keep the wood elevated while waiting to cut. Also look up quarter sawn and regular sawn. One thing is if you getting in to larger logs you will have to find out where the pith is running though the log.

Hello Kevin, congrats on your mill and setup. Not sure if it makes a difference or what the manual states but every Woodland Mills sawmill I have seen cuts from the log clamp towards the log stops. Could this contribute to your log moving issue while cutting? Looking forward to your sawing adventures.

The wooden stakes I made were from dry oak. I dont think they will warp green. Your stakes are like 1.5 x1.5- 2x2 or so? You can make short or long stakes from wood. They work fine. I hate the sound of sawing metal.
