Morning both and little Ruby, The Black Forest sounds so good with a lot of interesting history. Loved the old 1800s bridge and the white coach house and the Presbyterian church was beautiful. I so love these heritage walks that you do and this place was fabulous with such lovely buildings. That horse trough was great to see too, I remember you mentioned the buyers of these in a previous video. So good and I would definitely get a vanilla slice from that bakery ! I really love the beginning of this one but the red carpet was wonderful. The tree line streets were so beautiful to drive along. We made a cuppa and sat down with you guys for awhile. How lovely to see wood end. It’s such a lovely name, hasn’t it? Much better than 5 mile Creek. Love the bridge the way they can just move things and just redo it. It’s amazing to me. All the buildings have so much history with them don’t they? I do love that. The vanilla slice looked really really nice and I’m glad that you had a wonderful afternoon tea. I hope that you did have a nice time in the church reflecting by looking at those beautiful stain glass windows. Thank you for taking us along. God bless.💕😘🙏

I think Ruby gets the most exercise out of any dog. The clock tower was my favorite structure. Crazy to think that this was just 100 years or so (one long lifetime). Can you imagine folks 100 years from now looking back to our current structures. Have a good week guys.

Ruby is always in for an outing. She is a little pocket rocket. Yes, I have to agree with you Carl. the Clock Tower is pretty much an Iconic structure for the town. A good thought Carl, unfortunately we won't be here in a 100 years. But it might be equivalent to how we see structures that were made 100 years ago. Although these days they don't build to last. I am surprised they was only missing one stone after they took that bridge apart and then later reassembled it. That is a big project with lots of pieces to keep track of. Another horse trough from George and Annis! That Anglican church from 1864 looked wonderful. I love the stone architecture on the outside and the stained glass on the inside. Definitely has quite a number of substantial historic buildings Jojo, and obviously a very long established town, can imagine the band members clambering up and down that ladder with their heavy brass instruments to play from the roof of the bandstand, and another horse trough to add to Peter's list, thanks for the tour, cheers, Steve :)

The bloke he has no idea of what a lovely town Woodend is. The only hole he has is the one in his head 🤣 I have known many people who have lived and still live in Woodend. It is a great town. Quite busy if fact as many people commute to the big smoke for work. Hate to think what he thinks of Castlemaine. Hope you had an awesome weekend Jim. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤠

Hello friends alway enjoy your openings and love how you talk and tease each other and finish each others sentences. We've been through Woodend a number of times and stopped for a coffee break. Lovely little town. Interesting to see more through your video than our quick stopovers. How interesting about the bandstand! I guess it made sense to get the band up high on the roof so everyone could watch from anywhere below.

A stone is missing after dismantled and reconstructed ...haha gave me chuckles 3:00 I do like arched brick/stone bridges.. Woodend Heritage Walk...a charming little town.
