I like the wooden one too. The legion's plastic finish has worn out of color. I can make a update, let's see what I can cover for a 2021 machine in 2023 😅

@@TheHopelessGeek To give an idea, I am planning to buy a new laptop and is confused between Acer predator helios Neo 16 and the newly released Lenovo LOQ series. I wanna know the overall durability, thermals and overall usage of a Lenovo laptop, since you're using it since 2021 I think you'll be able to pretty much justify your experience for this machine

Durability is okay, but the plastic discolours for sure with palm heat and sweat. Thermals are okay too, nothing impressive. The keyboard gets super toasty when laptop is working at max load, so an external keyboard and mouse are a necessity. The display is great, but for some reason the OS takes a long time to load the screen from sleep (maybe driver issues). Overall, it's a decent laptop, but overpriced a bit due to the RTX GPU price, I guess.

I have a smaller desk space so when im using laptop and want to write something down there's not much space to to put the notebook so which one do u think i should get???

The 13 inch wooden one would be good. You can prop the laptop on it and have some space under it

In the metal stand, is that bottom ending enough to hold like gaming laptops? Idk it seems like it would just slide off

It's enough to hold even the thickest laptops. I used to use a 8 year old beefcake on it, and it held on fine. It has rubber grips on it too 🙂

Yes, I recommend an external keyboard. It'll usually be a better, more comfortable typing experience anyway 🙂

Making a custom wooden stand out of Teak wood would be amazing as Teak wood does not get mould

@@TheHopelessGeek good and shit at same time, optical gateron reds with lubed stabs and foam/tape mods makes it sound good, but it sometimes stuck in bootloop. like wont work for 3 days straight. software is shit too. no physical/water damage,no method to fix it reddit or otherwise

I'm one of the winner of Metal laptop stand. Trust me guys and gals, never seen a competition yet for the Megastro's quality. Still one can influence a bit much only. Obviously for people who save and buy stands what they bought is their best. So capeech!.

Metal one is more durable, lower maintenance. Overall better for most uses 🙂 Edit: didn't even recognise Mr. CEO down here😅
