When I did martial arts, the most common thing that was told to me was to go slow. People move fast to hide their mistakes. If you go slow, you are forced to balance constantly. To be fair tho.... it was tai chi

@@guilhermevalbao3175 it matters when you're moving around and using your feet to load up power or create angles but this guy is almost completely stationary, he moves a little to the left and a little to the right to hit from different angles but he's not doing any special footwork.

I practice with a T Oak Wooden Dummy. This guy has extreme skill. If you play it with 0.25 speed, you can still see the precision in his movement. AMAZING!

It strengthens your wrist and forearms... builds speed and accuracy... and most importantly it helps build focus through technique...

Your Speed & fluidity are fantastic! To only have "picked this up from IP Man" is admirable cause only a genuine Sifu will be able to see the weak points in your routine. I was also impressed with your lateral movement, combinational skill and punching scope. One things that many in the comment block may not realize that the Wooden Dummy also acts as a toughening board. What happens over years of practice is that the arms and hand bones become very, very hard! So much so that blocking an opponents punch causes micro-pains in the arms of the opponent. Those micro-pains causes micro-pauses in the opponent that the Wing Chun takes advantage of with speed and close in technical advantage. Nice work!!
