    Beautiful! Do you have to worry about the different directions of grain and cracking? Have you had any issues with cracking on that cutting board?

    Hi, Thank you, I was a bit concerned about cracking I made each block with the grain running in the same direction I'm not sure if that helped but Istill have this cutting board and there are no cracks in it.

    Your drawing says 70 parts of the sandwiched rectangle, I counted only 54 for the 280x400 board. Also for the pieces you show as 20 ea, I counted only 15 ea. Could you please clarify. Thatnks.

    Hi, yes you are correct i believe the figures on the drawing were for a different size board, you will only need 54 of the sandwiched rectangle and 15 of the other.

    Like the way you showed the working out with CAD gives an insight into how it’s done. Far too good to be used as a chopping board.
