Wood Turning The Ringer Bowl
This is how I glue up a Dizzy Bowl to get the best effect.
I made this ring bowl from wood that was planed to 1/8 inch or 3mm thick
Made from Padauk, Cherry Cambia Poplar and Yellow Birch.

That is such an elegant and delicate form, Gary. I hate to say cute, but the size gives it an adjective I can't think of. As always, excellent info on a clean finish with padauk. Your side grain and parting tool and the risk of it snapping off is not something I've considered. Most often my parting tool is used for its namesake on spindle turnings, other than establishing lines. Thank you for that lesson. So, now you've made segmented turning possible for a guy like me, with just a laser burner which is justifiable for many other reasons. I'll let my wife know to put a burner on my father's day gift idea list. I hope spring rolls in for you and for us on the prairies, soon. Be well.

That is what I love about the software. Click click click and I can see it in all those options. Take care my friend, Gary
