Yes I know there are a lot of errors in this video but its my first one on turning wood and lets face it I havent got the expensive gear that others have but I try to make do where possible.
I do make chisels and handles myself as cant afford some of the good stuff and it seems to work quite well.
I do hope you enjoy the music, unfortunately I cant talk well due to a health problem.

Lovely to see talent show up on video and I hope the younger generation seeing this appreciate the skills from the older generation.

Nice work. Not sure that it is totara - old totara usually is a bit redder.

Thanks Colin. I agree but have been told twice it is left me guessing. I certainly dont remember it being that hard when I worked with it in the joiners shop.
