Another genetic anamoly i figured out. Why does david wood's second son have blond hair if marie wood isn't white? We all know in mixed raced families, the kids usually turn out to not have their white side appearing. Dominant and reccessive genes . I assume marie wood isn't white, so should the kids look mixed race and not white?

Being "healed by Jesus' stripes" refers to spiritual healing, though praying for physical healing is always good. We don't use magical words, we just ask God for healing. Best still is to ask God to forgive our sins, and to follow Christ, and to ask Him to give us the strength to endure the lives allotted us.

The doctor said the SAME thing to me when one of my kids _could_ have ''trisomy 18'' too! l said ''forget it!'' and he was fine. l cant believe how strong your family is David! I’ve watched a video how David’s life has changed to become a Christian & went into tears. It’s really touching how he was the reason that pushed Nabeel (RIP) to Christ too. Indeed he’s an amazing person, you can’t just respect him. And, now I do respect him even more for all the love that he has to his lovely incredible wife & his beautiful children. Samuel L. Spencer I guess you haven't watched the KZread videos that show David's testimony. He does not hide his history; he admits it. But, thankfully, in prison, he met Jesus who changed David's mind, his heart, his life. It's a testimony to the love and power of Jesus that He would choose this man, who had such an awful history, to save, heal, forgive, and restore. (David's father, though he didn't even believe that David was the one who attacked him, when he read the confession letter David had written to him, forgave him. And the fact David has been married for 15 years and has 4 beautiful children is certainly evidence of great change in his life!) Praise the Lord! The thing is, Sir, in God's accounting book, we ALL merit the death penalty. I'm THANKFUL that Jesus paid that penalty for me, and I rejoice that He paid for David's too.

Samuel L. Spencer - You have no idea of who Jesus is, do you.(not a question) David has told us everything he did. He tried to kill his Dad. He has told us about it. We know about his diagnosis. We know everything that's true about him even thinking animals talked to him.. We know this because it is in his hour long testimony. You know, Saint Paul used to kill Christians, (joking)I'm sure you must not know it or you would have used reason and logic to walk thru this seeming problem thru........ Merry Christmas dude.

As sad as it is to see children with disabilities, your devotion and level of love from you both is their full happiness and covers all needs, and for the parents even with the difficulties it must be the sweetest suffering and incomparable happiness. All be well always.

David and Marie you are our inspiration. Out of our four children, the second one is the only son named Romel Vincent(40+) has been rewarded on the World Health Day of 1977. Now he is deeply disabled mentally and physically cannot move by himself. we bow our head to you. God bless.

You have obviously never experienced the forgiveness of God through our Lord Jesus Christ or you would understand that "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us". When we accept Jesus as our saviour... our sins are blotted out. Humans still only see the sin in man.... but God won't see it... coz its covered and paid for... it's gone.. it's new...

I feel for you, I understand how it is to have children with "Special Needs". I am a parent to one. To say that your situation is difficult, would really just under estimate the real underlying situation. It is indeed way way more difficult than anyone could see, especially the task of taking care of two special kids on a daily basis can sometimes really take a toll on the entire family. But your sons are so lucky to have true Christian-parents like you. But just like what my husband say, it is our children who are the blessings from God. It is them who taught us to be more patient, be more sensitive, be more understanding, be more loving. Every murmured names from them becomes endearment to our ears, every is smile and laughter becomes song to our ears, every "good little things" is magnified. Everything is MORE. It is like SEEING THE LOVE OF GOD THROUGH THE LENS OF OUR SPECIAL CHILDREN. I think I would be a totally different person if not for my son. And I wouldn't have it any other way.... but this. :)

Their is nothing wrong with an abortion especially if the parents were not ready for the kid. It's not good to bring an unborn child into a world were you cannot take care of him/her. Therefore, abortion is a better decision.

ben bacon I think that's between David and God. I can tell you that from my experience, I am no longer a psychopath. When I accepted Christ, my whole world view was dramatically changed. I developed empathy, which initially was quite uncomfortable. I don't think "crazy" doesn't mean unchanged.

chykcha I am amazed to think that 'empathy' can be obtained later in life. As far as I'm able to understand it, empathy is developed gradually from infancy through childhood. It has only been much later in life that I have begun to lose empathy for others (but only relatively slightly) It no longer breaks my heart to hear a child crying in the distance or a dog yelp, as it once did. David's story is absolutely astonishing to me. You say you were a "psychopath" but that now you're 'cured'? It's hard for me to imagine what being a 'psychopath' might be like, but I'm very interested to read that you have acquired empathy for others that was once absent from you. It's not that I disbelieve you - I just can't understand how that could be true. Do you really 'feel' compassion for others or are you just doing your religious duty? If you come to realize that your God belief is mythical nonsense, will you retain the 'compassion' that you have acquired?

Mark Lucas Mark, since your question seems sincere and thoughtful, it deserves a thoughtful response. I’m not sure how to do that without writing a very long message, so I’ll keep it short. You’re right, there is some research that indicates that form of empathy can be taught to a psychopathic or child with a lot of hard work, but none about an adult psychopath. Once you’re an adult and a psychopath, you will stay that way. Unless there is a supernatural/Devine intervention. I don’t know where on the scale I was, as I did feel emotions, but only as it pertained to me. Even then, most of my emotions fell into an anger category. I never even realized that anything was wrong with my emotions. When I encountered Jesus and repented, something changed. In fact, the feelings of empathy were a surprise to me and somewhat uncomfortable. It took me a while to realize what had changed. I’m sure some of that now is understanding how a Christian should think and behave, but I truly believe that the change in me was profound and real. Hope that answers your question.

David and Marie, thanks for sharing your story! So inspirational in seeing you serve the Lord and ignoring the "code word" suggestions of your doctors. We had a similar experience in my family having to ignore the "code word" of the physicians! The nearly 20 years after have shown the folly of such advice and have shown the blessings of God. It is such a flip for me to see someone I thought had the most obnoxious attitude as an apologist with his armor down, grieving as any father would grieve.
