Welcome to Russell'sWoodShed.
Todays project: Cube puzzles - scroll saw puzzle
Project time: a few minutes
Project Notes: so much awesome
Materials: 1" cubes of wood (pine in this case)
Our original templates are designed in Inkscape on a MacBook Pro.
The videos are recorded using a GoPro Hero4 (great camera) or an iPhone. We use iMovie on a Mac to edit our videos.
The music in our videos comes from the sound library on the mac which is "royalty free".

    Just ran across this video and it came just in time for making gifts for the bigger kids.. Can this be used to make a dolphin puzzle? Is it basically the same concept or does it require more planning in order for the finished piece to come out right?? I'm New to scroll saw work and still trying to follow lines (always afraid I'm going to break a blade during turns) Puzzles look like a great way to learn twists and turns to overcome the fear of breaking the blade. Thanks for sharing Your Video!!

    cool beans with this idea. Now put two prints of whatever images you want on each side then cut out the puzzle pieces and have fun trying to solve a double sided 3D puzzle.

    Yes. It works well. The pine that I was using splinters easily.
