I have to say birch has been my favorite to swing the past couple years and I recently picked up the MT27 birch model and it’s absolutely immaculate. Y’all seriously have to do an updated review the the MT27 birch!!

I’ve been waiting for this video for so long now.

Just picked up the MT27 for my son the other day. TBH, for almost ANY HS kid doing a wood bat tourney the MT27 is the go-to by far. These dudes (Bros) are straight-up dudes so you've got to remember that they are collegiate or MiLB caliber batsmen.

I love birch, it gives you flex & hardness of maple... good job bros.

Birch sounded wonderfully powerful, and the ball seemed to jump off the bat much better than the maple.

will has swung more variety bats than anyone and instead of hating I wanna say congrats on helping develop a bat that can compete with the best. I think the only issue is transparency maybe i missed some videos but i had no idea you were associated with batsmith. I do plan on getting one tho never swung birch and that bat looks gas.

I see that there are two versions of the mt27 maple, the regular one and the steel pressed one. From what I read on the internet the steel pressed version is a harder version wood. But does anyone know if it also have an affect on pop/performance?

Hey quick question! My team is doing a wood bat tournament and we have wood bats so I don't want to spend money on a bat for one tournament. I always watch your videos but sometimes like with wood bats I don't really pay attention to the actual bat as much as just watching you guys hit with it. I would use a 110 turn model right? Also what is an i13? Any suggestions would be awesome! Just a really light swinging bat thanks!

Wood bats are so much better than those artificial bats used in college, wood sounds great, the ball flies, why doesn't college use wood? Shout out to the pitcher, it's not easy tossing strikes. Hitters were pretty amazing..

Do you know if they make any bats out of beech? Because density wise. Beech is pretty close to maple, as in the type of grain.
