how to determine which is nock end and point end?
Great video. What hat are you wearing?
For your future videos, Do you prefer tapered points and nock compared to points and nocks from TopHat that are parallel, if so how come? what do you think about total arrow weight when matching a set? I probably does go too much in detail with my arrows, trying to match all weights with 1 grain apart (sometimes a have succeded to match them witin 0.1 grain, but it is rare ;) )

To be completely honest I have no experience with TopHat points. I’ve never had one in my hands or tested them so I really cannot speak to preference. I know that if you are carful with the taper and prep the gluing surfaces well, glue on points and nocks are excellent. As far as weight matching, it depends on what your doing. If your shooting targets and are a world class shot , then yes it matters. The lines between the rings are very thin and every point counts. If your hunting, and are an average shooter. Being within 10 grains is more than “close enough” and that’s an easy goal to achieve. I would bet most Traditional archers would not be able to tell the difference between 20 grains unless they weighed the dozen. With that said, Archery is very dependent on your mental confidence in your equipment. If you have the ability and time to grain match them then do it.
You can make it by the traditional simple way.... Warm it on fire....
