Vernon has grown so much as a singer, he sings regularly especially in their side tracks these days. Hiphop team has a ballad-esque song "I cant run away" which imo is the best track on attaca album, they all sang a lot there, it was just amazing

Yes,you were right about Jun (a lot of times he's compared to Heechul from Super Junior,especially when Heechul was younger). Seventeen does have a documentary on KZread called "Hit The Road",I think some clips used on the guide are in that documentary (it has 15 episodes,counting the prologue and epilogue, and each episodes are like 10-15 min long). I don't know about the other members but Mingyu is part of the 97 line chatgroup which has Jungkook in it (also some other idols like Jaehyun from NCT,etc)

The Rolling Stone clips are all from a live performance of three unit songs - Pinwheel (vocal), Trauma (hip hop) and Lililiyabbay (performance) - which also have MVs. The performance is pretty recent, the songs not as much. Seventeen has an INSANE back catalog and they are not afraid to break it out bc their songs don't get old (you know, you watched the Hit live) Vernon has a beautiful singing voice! All of the rappers have good range and control as singers, it's why Seventeen can do so many title tracks with zero rapping

You can call him "Coups" if you want, it won't sound weird at all- many of the members shorten his name to "Coups hyung" and a lot of fans call him coups too . But if you want to know for the sake of it, as others have said his name is pronounced as the letter s (ess) and then coups. ess-coups.

32:14 it's from seventeen's docu-series on youtube called "Hit the Road". it follows seventeen's previous world tour in 2019-2020 right before the pandemic hit and has an episode dedicated to each member. however, i wouldn't suggest watching it right away as parts of it are really heavy since a lot of members were dealing with illness and injuries on the tour. especially s.coups's episode as it took place at the time he took a several month long hiatus due to anxiety it's a good way to learn a bit more about the members but personally i don't think it's a good introductory series, so personally i'd recommend watching at least several episodes of going seventeen before thinking about watching hit the road. other's might disagree with me but i just think hit the road is better to watch once you have more of a baseline for each of the members

And i've seen a video which also pointed it out. They do have some similarities not just in visuals, but even a bit in their personalities and talents (like how both are affectionate towards their members and how they can play the piano)

I really enjoy your reactions to Seventeen 🤩 Just a couple random Infos Seventeen all talk informal to each other and in relaxed situations (like in the soop or TTT) they sometimes even leave out the hyung when calling each other. S.Coups went on a hiatus from the end of 2019 to early-mid 2020 because of anxiety problems but he said he is much better now, some of this will be discussed in Hit the Road if you want to watch that, its a documentary series about their world tour in 2019/2020 were his problems surfaced the most. Also, S.Coups called himself the General Leader or Seventeen and Carats Leader which is really cute. Wonwoo was one of the HipHop Team members who always liked to sing even before the whole unit began to sing more ballads, in some older variety shows or behind the scenes he's sometimes singing in the background. The Guide says Wonwoo doesn't look competitive and it's mostly true when they need to play games for ranking the members or playing for team captain, in team games or when they play against each other he is trying to win. Mingyu is the only left-handed member in Seventeen. He likes to draw in his free time and has given drawings as a gift to Members and other Friends. Vernon often watches cat videos in his free time and would have gotten a cat but he lives in a Dorm with DK who is allergic. The Fandom name for Vernon comes from Pre debuted times when he was using Hansol they sometimes called him Sollie and he looked like a Doll so Dollies (if I remember correctly).

As for Going Seventeen, one good episode to start with might be their most recent one, 'Going Seventeen 2022 Know Thyself'! The members fill in the MBTI test for the other members and they have a professional come in and do a personality test on all the members. Its really funny and a good way to introduce their personalities. No need to rush starting on GoSe tho, SVT has a lot of content and it aint going anywhere😊

really appreciate you taking the time to get to know seventeen! i've really been enjoying this series, especially looking to the next part since jun is my bias and he's in the performance unit! vernon does sing sometimes but i would say he probably is the hip hop unit member that sings the least. he's very capable of doing so if he needs to but he's definitely one of those members whose strength lies mainly in rap also re: names S.Coups: the "S" is just pronounced as the letter and then "Coups" separately. a lot of people just call him "Coups". he's also one of the two members (along with The8 aka Minghao) who i'd say are commonly referred to by their birth name as well as their stage names. all the other members either don't have stage names or are referred to by fans almost exclusively by their stage names. SVT actually promised each other when they debuted that they would use each other's stage names when talking to each other so they'd get used to it, and they still do so for the most part, so that's how fans tend to call them too. tl;dr: you can call S.Coups as S.Coups, Coups, Seungcheol, or Cheol :3 Vernon: vernon is technically his middle name along with his stage name, and hansol is his given name/first name. however, he's said that he prefers fans to call him "Vernon" rather than "Hansol" so that's how most people refer to him :3
