The 1971 family musical film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is a true cult classic and has entertained generations for over 4 decades. Last Fall, Beyond the Marquee was invited to a special WONKA fan event to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the film and got the chance to chat with some of the stars of the Oompa Loompa laden production; Paris Themmen (Mike Teevee), Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt) and Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregarde). They shared stories, recapped their favorite moments and answered some burning questions from our fans on the current whereabouts of some of the key props and costumes from the film.

I met all 5 "kids" in 2011 they all signed my poster. I miss Denise already.
Whoa, What I'd like from that film was Violet's Blueberry costume. The inflatable one with the belt popping off, and the styrofoam ball and make up for the blue skin. Ever since I was a child I wanted to try that like in the movie.

PS: IN MEMORIUM: THE LATE MEL STUART(1928-2012) AND THE LATE DENISE NICKERSON, FROM WILLY WONKA AND DARK SHADOWS FAME. THESE TWO GREAT TV/FILM GREATS ARE NO LONGER W/US, BUT THEIR FILM LEGACY IS FOREVER ON DVD AND IN BOOKS. (RIP) TO BOTH THESE GREAT TALENTS. YOUR LEGACY IS ALSO PRESERVED ON THE INTERNET. -GREAT GREAT MEMORIES. GOD BLESS.

I have some signed pics and a signed cardboard golden ticket that Paris Themmen actually sent me that I won on ebay , Id love to thank him if he reads this as I still have them and they are fantastic!
I got a chance to meet Julie. Nice lady. Posed for a picture and gave me an autograph on the house.
