This movie was smile-inducing to me. Timothée Chamalet was fantastic, the villains were extremely over the top but I found them to be entertaining as well. Paul King brought so much charm, energy, and charism to the screen through his direction. Hugh Grant stole the show despite having limited screen time and the musical sequences were a lot of fun! Not my favourite of the year by any means, but I found it incredibly delightful and I had a great time with it. Great review! Keep creating these videos 👍

Great review Joe, I have yet to see it and am planning to see it hopefully during the Christmas holidays coming up, and I hope you are feeling better soon from the bug stomach and your foot is healing and I can’t wait to see your review on Jack Frost! 👍🏻

I liked Wonka too. It may not have the edge that the book, the Gene Wilder one or even the Tim Burton one (Which I actually liked, I know that’s unpopular) had, but it was very charming as expected from Paul King when looking at the Paddington films. Timothee Chalamet did a took a minute to grow on me, but he settled into the role Wonka well. Good review Joe!

Can we please have a not-American Wonka please? Wilder, Depp, and now the great Mumbling Munchkin. They even called sweets 'candy' in Depp's film for god's sake. Why not just wrap Wonka in the stars and stripes and go 'whooo' while he shoots everyone
