I didn't watch many of his videos but from what I have seen he is quite articulate in meeting the needs of his band, haven't heard a misplaced note this far. You could barely know that drums are being played by someone in their preadolescent years, mature, fluid... No awkwardness in his approaches to his fills. A treat to hear and watch.

That's what I noticed to. John is amazing, but the sound makes it even sound more pro. Very cool!

I start drumming and serving the Lord when I was 12 or 13, but seeing you with this talent, kid! Man! I am teary-eyed imagining that my Kid soon will be serving the Lord on his early age just like you! God Bless you, young man! Keep serving the Lord and Fix your eyes on HIM and HIM alone!

I've been a worship drummer for 30 years. I'm 50 yrs old. I'm a great groover as is your son. The advice I offer you, is what I wish I had done when I was John's age. Encourage him, when available, to play drums in school all the way through highschool. The rudimentary teaching he will learn will make him a complete monster on his kit. I'm 50 and still trying to learn rudiments and I struggle. Anyway, he's amazing and I will continue to follow him. God bless you and yours. Darren
