    It actually takes MUCH more from your physical body & musculature to race walk than it does to run. One foot must touch the ground at all times. I have seen a body shut down like this before, and I would bet she passed out while still walking, tried to correct herself and was just too mentally vacant from the exhaustion to wake all the way to keep her momentum. I feel bad for her, she "walked" a great race. Maybe pushed too much too soon, poor kid! For all the haters: TRY IT!

  • @batesvillbilly368

    @batesvillbilly368

    One former jogger has written about injuries sustained while running, recommending race walking, which is much easier on the joints, instead. Requiring to have one foot in contact with the ground at all times reduces the impacts on ankles, knees and hips which lead to running injuries. That's from the wiki on racewalking. What you typed is laughably wrong.

That other female individual person pushed her as if to say that her position in the competitive repetitious movement of the female legs was irrelevant just like her existence. That is what happened! How can the judges not see through their ocular perception that I am sure is clear and not see this injustice? Are they not aware of the dramatic nature of speed walking? The nerve! The absolute nerve!

    People are saying this is a joke and stuff but it's actually a very difficult track event. So hard not to cheat and is very painful. Also, a 22:30 5k? 90% of people on this planet can't even run that fast, let alone walk that. Try it, I dare you..

    Your ability to reason is lacking. It's comical... simple as that. Who thinking to themselves, "I want to be the fastest walker in the world."? Who is impressed by the fastest walker in the world? Idiots. Also, shitting out of your mouth is painful and hard to accomplish (yes, it can happen) doesn't make it impressive or desirable to do.

    Didn't have much of a choice... People who participate in this event want to be the fastest walker in the world. And wtf does "shitting out of your mouth" have anything to do with people making fun of people participating in a track event??

    +Didn't have much of a choice... What are you, some maniacal super villain? "Simple minded fool" lmao, personally it seems that only idiot would find themselves with enough time to ridicule a sport for walking, let alone insult someone as if you'll receive some form of valor from it. Trust me, now thats comical.

    @Robinatorxl If your running a 10k in 30 minutes your a top D1 level runner. There is a difference between running and walking. Also, this is both a junior event and a women's event so obviously you wouldn't expect insane times. Keep in mind that even at 22:30 pace they are still walking at 8.2 or so mph. It's one thing to run that...a whole different story to walk it. The men are capable of 1:17 ish for 20km. Try walking on a treadmill at 9.8 for 12 miles and see how it goes.
