They’re looking into it. And yes there’s evidence. A while ago, a girl went in to meet him with a wire on and he said some pretty disturbing stuff. You should watch Phillip DeFranco’s video on it. He goes through all the details.

Correct me if I am wrong. But I don't understand why there are always men defending sexual harassers. I mean it is true that your are innocent until guilty but that is for the courts to decide, people don't have to wait till a court case occurs for them to think a man is a creep or to believe the victim who came forward. I mean I think this behavior negatively impacts men as well, because of these creeps woman start to think that most men are creeps and excuses like "he couldn't control himself" also speak badly of you guys. It gives the idea that men are a primitive species not capable of controlling yourself. You guys are not that, you guys are intelligent individuals that can critically think and make good judgments. Don't let those creeps justify you, you guys should also be angry that a guys abused his power to assault victims and keep getting away with it. If we all equally stand up to these men then you guys would be given the benefit of the doubt and a compliment at work could be taken as just a compliment without someone thinking you have an ulterior motive.

If you read nothing else here, understand that anyone who does anything cruel, unkind, unthinking or immoral (within the bounds of modern society's moral compass) should be held accountable and only they should be held accountable for what they have done. Humanity as a whole can then reflect on such act and /everyone/ should remember so that they do not do such a thing. The issue is that many men do get outraged by this kind of stuff but the media has created a lens for all those who aren't white males which paints white males as the only people who will be at fault. I'm a white guy and proud of the good things in my heritage (which often results in people's ire) and remember the bad so as to not do it again, and yet all I see is a world that sees a white man do something wrong and decide they had no excuse. In comparison a female or an individual of a minority race would be seen as victims of some hardship or justified in some other way. Personally, i believe any act of any sort that intentionally harms another person physically, mentally or emotionally should be considered questionable (obviously considering the severity of said hurt) and the guilty party should be accountable. There was a great interview with Morgan Freeman (and I'm here assuming that sexism is in the same tier as racism) where he was asked how to end racism in America. He said a simple statement: "You don't call me a black man and I don't call you a white man." It really is that simple. Any treatment based around gender or race should be questioned, excluding biological necessity, such as white people being recommended to use more sunscreen or women requiring various hygiene products due to menstruation.

Saber I agree that no one should be judged for what others of their race/gender do. It’s just some people have inherent bias which needs to be challenged. I also agree that nowadays people care more about who said it more than what they said.

Yes, innocent until proven guilty isa rule for courts and not necessarily the ordinary populace. But you should ask yourself why it is introduced into the legal system, why this makes sence in this context, and what are your reasons to not to follow that rationale in other contexts. Its a legal standard because proving non-existence of anything is way harder (if not impossible), and false allegations have serious consequences on innocent people. In courts, those can be the toughest consequences imaginable (lifetime in prison, even death in some countries), which can't be corrected if somewhere a mistake was made. But humans don't punish only via the legal system. We also use forms of shame and boycott, which can also have serious consequences if applied by the mases (suicide because of shame; going bancrupt because of boycott) and might destroy lifes (socially or economically). The harsher our collectice punishment is, the more we should be sure, we target the right person, regardless of if it is in a court or not. I think you agree with me that a simple "sorry" isn't enough to compensate a false rape accusation. This case (Weinstein) seems pretty obvious, with him more or less confessing. But in other cases, when you only have the "victim" vs. the "perpetrator", allow yourself to have a shred of doubt in your mind. Especially with sex-crimes, when its mostly perceived as "woman=victim" and "man=offender", bear in mind that women are not necessarily better humans uncapable of lying, and that not all men are disgusting pigs. Imho, thats what most (of course not all) men are trying to say when they "innocent until proven guilty" in those cases. At least that's what's my point behind that phrase would be.

It's actually gotten better. It may seem like it's the other way around, however if that were the case, notable individuals such as Cosby, Ailes, O'Reilly and so forth would have gotten away unpunished. The rise of social media as well as the huge number of smartphones in service around the world appears to be causing the increased coverage to be mistaken for a worsening of such deviant behavior, but that's understandable. Incidentally, such individuals are rather upset they are far more likely to be caught nowadays partaking in such disgraceful acts of sexual predation. They liked it when they were able to use their positions to get away with it all. Personally, I'm glad they're being busted, and I'm confident that most of you are too.

I've had my ass grabbed by multiple women on multiple occasions during my college days. On one occasion, I regretfully admit that I did the same, and never again. I swear under penalty of castration that this is the truth, but I suppose that it wouldn't surprise me if you think I'm bullshitting you. Sure, I agree that it's usually the other way around, but that's not always the case. My parents raised me well, and ensured that I always remembered to treat others with respect, especially women. And on one occasion, I dishonored those teachings by way of pinching a female's behind, sadly, but I digress.

I went to North Hollywood high school. there were older men crusin' the High School all the time. They were all kinds of men, Record Producers, Lawyers, Many, many others. this is not new. this abuse has been going on a long time. One line was to a 16-year-old, "you know, I produce the Commodores so you can see what I could do for you. let's see what we can do for you." The girl goes with him to his office, with a promise of hearing her sing. He sits down she said,"are you going to record me? or do you want me to sing Acappella, or what.?" the man unzipped his pants & said, "let's see what you can do with this first." The girl actually had a sense of self. she had also, been a victim of sexual abuse very early in her life, She had told on her abuser & was punished for it. She learned her lesson, she also swore she would never be the victim again. Noone would ever stand up for her, so she learned how to stand up for herself. She told him to "blow himself. that he was disgusting to sit there & promise a young person their dreams to suck his disgusting dick. And in front of the picture of your wife and kid right there on his desk" she turned & walked out. She did not sing for anyone but herself, from that day forth. She decided if that is what it takes to get heard. She wanted nothing to do with that disgusting world. nothing has changed. we have a sexual predator, An abuser of women in the White House. Check back in ten years, I bet it will be business as usual. I hope not, but the sad sick world we have fixed for ourselves leads me to think it will be. We are ready to progress. why aren't they? I have no problem with sex. I have a problem with sex abusers. Time to stop and fix these issues. think about it do you want any of your loved ones female or male to be treated so badly? Be honest. because those are your Daughters, your cousins. Your Sons. Your Family. Time to end Sexual Violence, Racial Violence, Religious persecution. no joke about it.

"You know who else participates in sexual harassment daily? Not so powerful men" Heres a shocker that i will get a lot of hate for... men are sexually harassed daily as well. By the MEN AND WOMEN in positions of power. Two things to consider in that controversial statement. One: it is admittedly, a fraction of men who are harassed by women, generally a man, straight or gay, will be put in a position to either perform homosexual favors in order to advance or even keep the job they retain. Less often is it a woman that propositions a subordinate male or female employee, not to suggest that is doesn't happen, just that this is the case where 'a fraction' of incidentia is accurate. Finally bringing us upon point number Two: of the instances where a man is preyed upon - again, by either men or women in positions of power - it is well known and established that the number of assaults that are NOT reported to the proper authorities is far far greater than that of assaults not reported by female victims of the same crime. The leading theory for this circumstance is believed to be no different than the reason a female victim would not report. Shame, fear, denial... the list goes on. Unfortunately, in todays society (though everyday is a step closer to gender equality and enlightenment) a man does get a much blacker eye, more mud on his face.... the pressures of todays society brings down more shame, especially for a straight man propositioned by a male employer. We will always have to fight and stand up against harassment, sexual or otherwise, as a society. Everyday it becomes easier (access and reachability wise) to call out and announce to others, for their own safety, for yours, and for the betterment of the human condition as a whole, those who perpetuate this abuse of power. Possibly, just below murder, pedophilia and... someone think of something heinous - possibly, the third or fourth most vile thing a person in power can instigate. Now, lets take a moment to digest all of this. Thank you for taking the time to consider what i have brought to the table. In no way does this train of thought interfere or diminish the validity of what these woman spoke of. In simple terms, i only hope my observation helps to further the battle against harassment and shed light to an unknown flipside to the coin of this issue. Thanks again 🖖

It's clear some of you are biased towards women and the others towards men. For those who side with women, crying wolf every time you're offended by someone's opinion can undermine bona fide cases of sexual assault, rape, and such. Furthermore, the amount of outrageously-misogynist crap that the cruelly-oppressed women of the Middle-East have to put up with on a daily basis makes a farce out of most cases in the western world. For those of you who side with men, while it's true that there is a percentage of women who turn out to be gold-diggers, the same is true for men. Yes, there are sugarmamas who spoil their boytoys too. Also, if you're sexually-frustrated because you can't get laid, then I guess I'm sorry, but believe me, there are women looking for one-night-stands who aren't hookers, and you need to go to where they mingle, not the other way around. Lastly, you have porn and KY Jelly available if you need to relieve yourself.

  • @sanitized4protection

False reports of rape/sexual harassment occur, but it is a very low percentage. Depending on what statistics you cite it could be anywhere from 1.5% to 10%. Unreported cases of the same, is much higher, as high as 80%. No one ever argues about false reports of any other crime, though that happens too.

Can I just say this of all the late night hosts Seth is the only one that involves writers in the actual live show giving them actual credit. Unlike Colbert being hailed for his monologue on Trump which most definitely is written for him Seth gives them more than just credit on google. This man deserves more ratings, more views, more subscribers and much much more praise.

"And improv coaches." Wow. Yessss! Shine some light, ladies. That part of the business has been in the dark for far too long. If you know anyone who has studied improv in NY, LA, or Chicago, show them this joke. There are so many stories to tell.

If any of the KZreadrs who actually use this website as a way to make a living would write something like this, I guarantee you that video would be shut down within the hour.
