Women in STEM: Role of Institutions and Society in Gender Equity | Rohini Godbole | TEDxIISERPune
The issue of under-representation of women in science is being seen with a great deal of concern all over the world. In this talk, Dr Godbole analyses the situation in India and tries to put forth the point that institutions can play a big role in making the shift to equity of representation of women in the STEM fields.
Dr Godbole is a professor and researcher in High Energy Physics at IISc, Bangalore. A Padma Shri awardee, she is also a member of the Women in Science Panel of the Indian Academy of Sciences.
