She has a unique talent in art. After the revolution, she returned to Iran and to my disbelief, she was not executed (because most female artists were executed, and Googoosh was one of the most important ones). She was banned from leaving Iran for 21 years and she remained silent for 21 years until she was able to leave Iran and continue her artistic activity. For the people of Iran, Googoosh is a certificate of Iran that always stands by the people and her tears are painful. Also, Leila Forouhar and Shohreh Aghdashloo are one of the old artists before the Islamic Revolution.

I can't even fathom what the artist of that time went through . To be forced to leave your country your home so you can keep your passion and save your career , or in googoosh case , be forced to be silent and not do something you have so much passion for , especially with thet voice and that talent , I can't even imagine how much depressing and suffocating that must be .

And when the revolution happened, she was only 28 years old. They took the stage from her, took her property and went to the point where she had to sell her clothes. She has endured a lot of suffering. But she is always in people's hearts.

Your takes on Iran are so accurate and doing such a great justice for the people in Iran with no voice. Your point about the age limits on videos is particularly accurate, many social media platforms are deleting Iran protest coverage because of the violence they show but it is massively hindering the people's fight for freedom.
