Oh man .. The brushing, touching and leaning in toward you is just reminding me of a lady I was only friends with in high school. I missed nearly*all* the signs. How did you pursue her? Meaning, what exactly did you do to pursue her? If she displayed most of these signs, it's true there was attraction there. With that attraction comes daydreaming and fantasy she concocts in hopes of how you'll pursue her. If it didn't meet her expectations, or if your words were dull, boring, or revealed too much, then that's what likely turned her off. I recommend you step back and show her how strong you are by not getting nervous or emotional while around her. Be nonchalant, kind, and positive. But don't babble. Keep it short and sweet. I always thought the leg cross was a subconscious behavior indicating she wasn’t interested, but now I see that it’s actually attraction.

Women do these things when there is an opening in their friend zone they have you marked for. You can get most of these all in one go, they ask you to meet them, play with their hair, look you in the eyes, cross the legs …the whole lot. But when you pull the trigger she’s suddenly got a boyfriend and sees you as just a friend.

I gave someone an extra Wawa pretzel I had in my backpack one day and I almost got fired from a job two years later over that incident. I wasn't even working for the company at the time. I swear to God this world is fucking crazy. Women don't care who they hurt. The interaction was literally just a stranger in the breakroom said she didn't have lunch so I gave her food I didn't want. I think the feet pointing towards you thing is super dumb. When I'm attracted to someone my feet do not do this lol. A lot of body language isn't accurate. For example: Crossing your arms is seen as defensive etc. No I am crossing my arms because it is COMFORTABLE or my arms are cold. There is literally no meaning behind it! Lol

Possibly depending on the rest of the facial expression but it's probably a device to get you attracted to them and not a sign that they are attracted to you. So...problem is, can't a good amount of these signs be signs that you may be her best friend and therefore potentially in the friend zone if there isn't enough/the right kind of sexual attraction/romance? Some things like, sharing super personal details, sharing food and drink, being touchy feely, genuine laughter at your antics, and so on all seem like stuff that I've also heavily experience with some of my best female friends (including some that I had crushes on growing up). That said...yeah I guess the hair twirling isn't something a female friend necessarily does. I will say tho, that a lot of women do that not to flirt or because they're nervous in a good way around you, but sometimes because they're bored, zoned out/zoning out, or maybe honestly you make them nervous in a BAD way where they don't have a crush back on you but feel awkward that you do and so feel anxious.

For me, I always put it down to eating a big Mac and at the same time holding one between my knees .

A friend of mine who's in her 50s and me being in my 20s one time she offered to go with me to the dump to get rid of furniture after that we went to dunk n doughnuts and she bought both her and I breakfast then we went to the store so she could get a new lounge chair for out by the pool. She has also let me touch her shoulder so that I could feel her shoulder was out of place and she has also touched my neck so she could get a piece of wood chip off of it then she said sorry I'm standing there thinking to myself don't be sorry you can touch me anytime you want. I was working on detailing a customers car and she came to out to me and she was cleaning her glasses and I saw her belly I'm standing there working on the car thinking to myself you just made my week. Then a few days later i was working on the boat so that the water could drain out of it when it rained and she came out to stand next to me and I watched her pull her jeans up a little bit and I cought a glimpse of her belly I know this sounds creepy but I like it anyway I even like the way she dresses to.

She’s a colleague and we met through our company’s badminton session. I had her number so I asked her out over the phone because I wasn’t sure I’d meet her again (huge company). She said she was dating someone but not in a relationship . We then went to Wimbledon together and she was quite touchy and comfortable with me. She then mentioned she’s getting to know him but isn’t physically attracted to him. We share a lot of common values too. I try to ignore her in office but she comes over and talks often touching my arms and is very comfortable with me and shared her personal life with me before. So during our next badminton session I told her I don’t know what her situation was and that I would like to take her out but she said “I’m still dating”. Not sure if she’s just being friendly or is really attracted to me. The other day she said “you were just starring at your screen” which means she was noticing me in office. She shows most of the signs mentioned here but yet wouldn’t go out with me. What’s going on?

Sounds like you are in friend zone. Never tell a girl your "feelings" let her approach you first and wonder why you aren't drooling over her constantly. Basically never show a girl your true feminine side or feminine emotions. Its a turn off for most women. If she wants you she will make it known, even if it takes a while. Also if you are dating never tell a woman you love her first, like ever. Even if thats how you truly feel.

Saw this vid in my feed and just wanted to see if I actually do these things when I have a crush on a guy…and I really do, almost to a T 😂. The eye contact is the most important one tho, it can’t be overstated just how important that is. I’ve developed crushes on guys that weren’t my type and maybe weren’t as physically attractive as I normally go for simply because they made constant eye contact w me and gazed at me in a way that was so different that it sparked something deep within me and I couldn’t get them out of my head because of it. I was wondering if this could be a sign that a woman is interested in me. She used to work at the bakery I go to a lot, and we chatted and connected so many times. On her last day, she said my coffee was on her. One day, I ran into her at the bar. We chatted, and I said something about her bravely coming out of her shell better than me (however I worded it) because of her singing karaoke during her first time here. Not long after, when she and her friends were singing again, she gestured me toward them and pointed to the lyrics on the screen. What's funny is I had told her I didn't like being in the spotlight during the "out-of-shell" conversation. Not to criticize her action and encouragement! Just saying it's interesting and I'm wondering about her motive, perspective, and if it could've meant something. Did it? Should I ask her for her number, next time I see her?

@@spacelinx Actually, there's been an update. I saw her a few nights ago at a different bar. I pretended I didn't see her in the dancing crowd, she noticed me (I think after I accidentally bumped into her), put her hand on my arm to get my attention, and said hi. It was a very brief talk, given the dancing and loudness. So of course, I did not ask for her number or to be my date at the swing dance next month. But it's not just that. She was with a group of friends, and one of them was a guy she talked with. He could have been her boyfriend. What would be the signs (aside from kissing, obviously). I'm curious about the connection (or contradiction) between the potential "she-likes-me" signs and the idea of her having a boyfriend. He's the main reason I didn't ask her anything.

None of these physical signs from women ever occurred to me… lol !

And after all that, and you try to put the moves on, she says I don't feel comfortable 😂. You can never figure them out
