I understand what you’re saying. But we have to understand that they’re probably mentally very ill. For them this is real. I guess that’s why it’s so hard to make them see how irrational their behavior seems to us. No hate. I agree with your comment. I just feel like there is more to it than just being ignorant. "I know my body" and "I researched it on the internet" are two of the most hated phrases among doctors. These women spout both them. It's the Dunning-Kruger effect. They're so ignorant, about medical science and the human reproductive system and anatomy, that they can't even comprehend how ignorant they are. They don't show any signs of being psychologically unstable in any other aspect of their lives, they lead normal lives, it's just in this particular area they talk like nincompoops. So I agree with your original comment, I think it really is ignorance. And anyone can be ignorant, I'm ignorant about welding, so I certainly wouldn't lecture a welding expert on how to weld something.

Was nobody going to tell these women that the "fetal heartbeats" they're hearing with their home doppler devices were their own pulses? I've worked with doppler ultrasounds on pregnant women and a normal fetal heartbeat is above 100, and you can clearly see on one of the ladies' dopplers at 1:02 is reading 55. They're just moving it around their bellies, waiting to get a reading when in actuality they're just finding their own abdominal arterial pulses....

She told us her doctor had told her she had a tumor and needed a hysterectomy, but she wouldn't let him do that because she knew she was pregnant. The drs didn't seem to make a big deal about it so it went on for a few years. I noticed she had gained a lot of weight and even though she tried to workout she couldn't lose it. One evening while we were out having dinner, she got really sick she couldn't eat, and was complaining about pain on one of her sides. I took her to the ER they found out she had a huge cyst on her ovary, she ended up getting surgery that night. A few years later she was pregnant they found out she had another one, so once again, she had to go in for surgery. These things are no joke you need to get treated ASAP

In the case of Shayna, she seems to be suffering from other medical conditions like being prediabetic which has caused her pregnancy symptoms. Zona? Well, she seems to suffer from a very rare, but none the less well documented case of false or phantom pregnancy. Dopplers are more of a security blanket for expectant mother. Since they've been known to pick up a lot of other noises, you really can't use them to tell if you're pregnant.

As shown in the video, Phantom Pregnancies can be incredibly distressing, upsetting, and traumatic for the person suffering from them. A bit of compassion, and understanding wouldn't go amiss. They are not "crazy", they're just convinced there is something there, even if it isn't. Is someone suffering from a schizoaffective disorder an idiot because they have visual/auditory hallucinations? No! So why should these women be subjected to such vile comments, when they could potentially be suffering from conditions that may not be as different as you think... Mental health shows itself in a vast array of forms. ALWAYS think twice before you open your mouth! 🧠

When you are suffering since a long time you start to become very sceptical of doctors and it works against you. I suffer from back pain that is very hard to manage with medications and I’ve noticed that I have a problem with almost every doctor I see that doesn’t give me a solution that puts an end to my pain. The only doctor I have a good relation with is the one that does my infiltrations. They suffer in their mind so much and have already decided what they have and that’s sad because it puts them beyond help until it clicks in their heads.
