Cheesecake Factory is not cheap. He had reservations at a certain time. She was an hour late which made him miss the reservation so he took her to Cheesecake. Had she respected the time he made the reservation for, she would be eating at a 5 star restaurant like she originally wanted. He seems to be a nice man who really did like her and wanted to do something nice for her but she was very disrespectful the whole time to him.

I've gone out on several dinner dates where I was actually interested in the men but when they opened their big mouths, I got immediately turned off and some accused me of only wanting a free meal when that was not true. There are different types of ppl that can afford and are used to different types of things, and it’s OKAY!! I live in NYC and it’s in your face. I can be on the train with a homeless person, a working class person, a middle class, and a 1% percent earning person. Cases like these make us (latinos) not take you black women serious at all. I have a cousin. Cousin A who married 2 black women and divorced 2 black women. 1 cuban and 1 american black woman. The American Black woman, had her younger brother live in with them after their marriage. The wife treated her younger brother better than my cousin. He still cooked his own meals and cleaned his own clothes. She cooked her younger brother meals, cleaned his clothes and made sure he was taken care off. She didn't attend our family functions. When invited to his place we went and hung out. She would travel and help her sister with moving to hawaii and staying more than a month with her aunt in a different state while she recovered. My cousin, filed for divorce and got himself her replacement. A white woman who cooks, cleans and treats him well. My cousin wanted to start a family with his black "queen" but didn't see his value until months after the divorce. Cousin A had setup his wife's younger sister with Cousin B. Cousin B said "Bro, She showed up 20 minutes late with no excuse. Showed up and went straight to the cashier ordered her food and stared at me. I paid for both our meals. She ate her meal quick and then looked at her phone and took off." While her version was "He was an awesome guy and def feel like we vibed an would want to go out again" Us Latinos cousins had our issues with ladies trying to finess us but we can see them and not as arrogant as ladies in the video. But it def deters us or reconsider having to go out with y'all.

I’m a woman and I’ve worked hard to afford a nice lifestyle. I am not dating and I am not married but when I go out with my friends or my family members, we go to nice-ish restaurants and have no problem, dropping a few hundred dollars on dinner. If I met a guy that I genuinely liked and he wanted to go somewhere like Cheesecake Factory or not super fancy I really wouldn’t care because it’s more about the person and I think it’s so weird to want to date someone and go somewhere ultra fancy. The point of going for dinner or conversing over a meal is just to genuinely talk and get to each other. I don't agree with the free date idea. You could mess around and attract a dusty with that mindset. The type of guy that can only pay the light bill, or just mooches off you completely. That's setting the bar much too low. What happens when you wanna get married but he can't afford the ring? Or you wanna have babies but he can't afford diapers, etc? Although the entry may be free almost always a purchase is made (at minimum) to eat or drink. Observe his/her body language to find out if he/she is worth a second date. I am not thirsty in my singleness by ANY stretch, however - it's always baffled me how women like this get majority of decent men's attention all the time. You can't be a woman who cares about other ppl's feelings, not believe you're the center of the universe, and quasi-attractive and get a dude to ask you out. Some people don't know or understand what it means to date. They are just out here looking for a free meal or doing things like this. She can court herself if she thinks The Cheesecake Factory is beneath her. SHE was late. She chose NOT to call him because she was running late. She should be happy that he was still interested in spending time with her. I’m glad he told her how she messed up. Someone needed to tell her the truth. I’ve been to The Cheesecake Factory a few times. I’ve never had any of their cheesecake. I have had the Godiva chocolate brownie sundae. OMG! It’s amazing!

My man offered dinner on the first date and i said we can go for coffee and have a quiet conversation after the gym, so he took me to a protein place to get protein shakes and waffles to get my protein in after working out and we had the best time connecting over our stories. The next day he took me to dinner and has been going out of his way to take me to places i like without me having to ask. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with coffee dates or a quick bite for the first date, just sit down and get to know one another before spending your hard earned money on someone you don’t know, imagine spending $100+ every time you want to meet someone new you’ll go broke soon, especially if they’re not wealthy.

It is expensive my first time going was with my friend and I was thinking to myself like omg but we enjoyed ourselves we were about to pay somebody paid the bill for us anonymously we didn’t even get to say thank you to the person! 😂 that was my first and last time going tho a good experience for me

I've had at least 2 different guys ask if they can comeif over to my place for the first date. 😂😂😂 Nope. Not to mention how many women were asked to come "Netflix and chill" at men's places back in the day. Men have really been THAT entitled all this time. The way I see it, this woman's video gave men a little taste of their own medicine (entitlement). Someone said she'll end up alone. Nope. She can always tone it down a bit and find another one.

I believe he made reservations at a different restaurant, but she was an hour late and lost the spot. He had come up with another dining experience because of her tardiness

this guy really thought it through he made the reservation for 5pm and picked her up at 4 and she still messed it up he did leave her some leeway but she used it all and then had the nerve to complain

There are many other ladies that ready to stand in line for him! He found out early that she isn't the one for him. Btw, I'm down with the cheesecake factory--many selections to choose from, I'll wear elastic waist slacks so I can indulge! She shouldn't have uploaded that video to Tok Tik and she not only she dropped the ball, she all the way fumbled the ball.

Honestly, I don't think a first date should be over dinner. A nice walk in the park or meeting for coffee, maybe. First date should be more preliminary than anything, just for talking, feeling each other out, seeing if y'all even vibe & if that person will even make it to the next step, lol. No need to 'love bomb' or jump through any hoops for the company of someone you may not even enjoy while doing something simple. After that, if y'all still feeling good about it, then move on to a dinner date... but JUST dinner. And y'all EACH need to be prepared to drive your OWN cars, & PAY for your OWN meal & drinks for just in case you realize y'all don't really like each other. Just talk... Find out who the heck you're even dealing with. Keep things light & find reasons to just laugh & enjoy each other's company without the pressure of impressing or being impressed. This was a great video and I agree that this lady was out of line and she may have missed out on her blessing due to her behavior. I think the issue we are seeing now with both women and men is the end result of many people not being taught much of anything when they are kids growing up. I can remember my parents telling me long before I was a teenager that whenever I start dating guys that I should never order anything that I can’t buy for myself and to make sure I have enough money on hand to reimburse the guy in case he feels like I owe him something just because he paid for dinner. I was also taught to drive myself to meet a guy in public for at least the first few dates until I get to know him and to not let him come back to my place or go over to his place before I really get to know him. I was also taught not to ask men for money or expensive gifts and not to accept money or gifts if he offers it because a lot of men will think they are entitled to sex if they spend a certain amount of money on you. Ironically, as I began dating, I ran across a lot of men who still felt like they were entitled to something even if they had only bought me a $5 cup of hot chocolate from Starbucks or had not taken me out at all and many of them would show up to my place asking what did I cook. The same way women don’t want to be used, men also don’t want to be used, but yet both men and women are often in a rush to just get what they want right now without being considerate of the fact that neither of them want to get played. That’s why the dating scene is trash these days. If I wasn’t married now, I would just be content being a single female at this point and I would not care about what people think of it
