You get a jarful from someone, you "feed it" and keep it alive for making sourdough bread, looks very similar to yours. Love your videos, always excellent!😊😊😊😊😊

Thank you for reminding this long-term vegan that a bean dip can be simple and doesn't need lots of different spices and this and that to be delicious 😊 The bread looks wonderful and I really enjoyed watching you unpack and use that beautiful thing... it was great that you showed us how to clean and take care of it as well, that rarely happens in cooking videos. In my part of south London (Brixton) there's a windmill built in the early 1800s, it was restored some years ago and is even operational sometimes. I went to visit in the summer and they have a collection of very old millstones outside, it was so interesting. Your video made me think of that, and from now on, that windmill will make me think of you 🥰 I wish a beautiful xmas and new year with your loved ones, close and warm and enjoying the fruits of your work! May next year start well and carry on that way. And I think we all know what "well" means here ❤🖤

Can I ask about the 2 side dishes? The first one was crushed beans but was the second some type of fat? Pig fat? The bread looked perfect! She is such a great cook and I love how she nods her head side to side when tasting the food, thinking, yes, very tasty! 🥰🇺🇦

Hiya nice foods hey my Nana Jaeger whom also had Ukraine ancestors showed us too how too make the bread yum rite we see you place the bread in the oven after scoring the dough with knife without waiting for the dough to relax once cut with the knife. We were taught to wait 10 min after scoring the bread so as the dough can relax enough to be able to rise within the humidities steaming convection which is the conduit to crust . That way your bread has a smoother finish without splitting on top. Never the less we are very impressed with your baking skills perse" have a very merry Xmas and happy new year..
