FOR ANYONE WANTING TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT- Tests at the hospital revealed that Janet had broken her back, spine and sternum and punctured a lung. She spent 5 days in a coma and 8 months in hospital- during this time she had a 20% chance of survival, miraculously she pulled through and learnt to walk again!

@@virginiaviola5097 universal healthcare is a godsend to millions in the UK. We still have private healthcare that people can take up if they wish to, but no matter who you are, from a homeless, penniless person to a billionaire, is entitled to the exact same world class healthcare on the NHS, free at the point of use. No bills, all paid for through taxation. It's a wonderful system. It has its flaws, as does every system, but to a lot of experts worldwide, the NHS is the ideal model. Funded through taxation, free at the point of use, universally available to all citizens and even visitors on holiday.

@@rickybojangles162 I’m an Aussie, and we also have a system in place the same as the NHS. For those who can afford it there’s private health insurance which really just means that for elective surgery there’s no wait time for a hospital bed, but I don’t mind the wait because I’m just so grateful that we have access to first class medical treatment when it’s needed. And I really can’t agree with those from another country who will say ‘ but it’s not free, you pay for it with your taxes’, and whatever other argument they’ve got to support being bankrupted if they need hospital care’, and to that I say, well, what would you rather that your government does with your tax money?

Any info on what was the level of the brain injury? I mean, what kind of level of injury makes it look like that. To me, it looks like a huge concussion, but maybe not anything "major". I've seen that in some bicycle accidents and in something that happened in the streets. This video is very informative, I've learned a lot from it. Thank you for posting it... You never stop learning. So glad she made it!!
