If you want to see more of them(Jenny and her husband Jimmy), the BBC are currently running a tv show about them called “Baby Chimp Rescue”. It’s a great look inside their sanctuary and all the hard work they put into saving little lives. They’re inspirational :)

What a sweet story ..>Selling these beautiful babies is a horrible tragedy. But its all about the money! So sad but at least we have rescue groups to save these beautiful furbabies!

Jeremy Orourke your comment is just silly,what are these people who keep them as pets going to do with them ,when they are a fully grown adult,do you not realise how strong and dangerous they can be then,these lovely wild chimps, should never ever be a pet,leave them in the wild where they belong,its because of idiots like you,we have the need for these wonderful people who rescue them,how would you like to witness your mother being killed in front of you,and then you yourself are taken away to a strange scary place ,use your brain before you comment,you are just making yourself look very uneducated

It's also dangerous to have them as pets, not just for the animal, but for the human. Remember the lady that got her face ripped off? Yeah, not a pleasant story. At least Ella is safe.

Poor Ella. It's so sad to see and hear of so many baby chimps being orphaned by the slaughtering of their mothers. Because of Illegal bush meat and pet trade. The country needs to crack down with harsher punishments for this. My hope for Ella and all orphaned chimps is for them to be rescued and the end of the slaughtering of chimps. They deserve to grow up in groups with their mom's in the wild.💝

Boco Corwin i know i sound liek everyone else but I have a pet snake that I love to death, and I would never had owned one but they were being horribly mistreated along with the other reptiles this breeder owned, very sad I couldn’t save them all, I just don’t have the money or time but I did save one! And don’t worry I did tons of research before hand she’s a great eater and loves cuddles 🥰🐍

this incredible woman has saved chimpanzees, owls, dogs, grasshopers and many animals that probably most people won’t save.she returned a dying puppy to life with the help of her amazing vet husband and the amazing team.thank you so much jenny♥️
