Those who think that spouses should be number 1 should draw the line when children are abused or mistreated.
"I threw a hammer at my husband, I didn't mean for it to hit him" "Hailey, I threw a frame at her, I didn't mean to hit her in the head but I did" Tf is wrong with her. What's the point of throwing stuff if you don't mean to hit them. Don't play the victim here
My ex is an alcoholic. Notice how I said “ex”. She wouldn’t admit she had a problem, let alone seek help. My current wonderful wife has no addictions.

I’m a recovering alcoholic myself and this scenario is familiar. I lived to drink and I drank to live but a few eye openers happened and I got sober. Shelly has to want to get better and want to beat this but she can’t do it on her own. She needs other help to step in and become a steady anchor in her life but most important, she has to first take the step in admitting her problem and get out of denial. When it comes to denial, I’ve been there before, I only live one day at a time. Just for today, I don’t need a drink. Short term daily goals leads to long term success in recovery.

No your children should be his number one- he can have another wife and get rid of his old one but no matter how much he tries to get rid of his daughters he cant sure he can make another but he cant get rid of the ones who exist so stop being defensive and realize what you are doing is wrong.

This woman is a mess but I also think the husband gets off on enabling and then playing the victim.
