I tend to not believe any upset woman who ends every last word of every sentence with an '-uh' : she's lying-uh, I did nothing-uh, why-uh.... Where did that come from? When did that start? When-uh? But more importantly WHY-UH?! On the other hand, if she is telling the truth and the other woman is lying, but lying calmly and collected, that must be infuriating and frustrating. You know you raising your voice while the other party stays calm will work against you, and that will make you even more frustrated.

I have been threatened with arrest when I called the cops on my abusive boyfriend. He calmly told his story and I was hysterical, but his story was a lie and my black eye was the truth. The cops were very close to taking me in. Girlfriend inside could be a clever, calm lier like my ex was.

This is grimey, undertones of trying to seperate families, based on dysfunction of respects and personalities. This may be why there is a huge homeless issue throughout the country. They burn their own villages 😢

Police officers are human beings too. If you treat them with the respect you expect from them they will work with you. Be honest and forthcoming and don’t insult their intelligence and you’d be surprised how willing they are to help you out of a tough situation.
