Aw, that was so precious. It reminded me of my (everything's on my terms) Lancashire Heeler. He'd lie next to me and then do this dramatically adorable swoon onto my lap. I miss my little grump 😢

She really does have an exceptional personality. She's a keeper 🥰

Dont blame the people working at the Shelters though, they're at (or over) capacity all the time. Blame the system and bad owners.

Here in the US, many people are breeding dogs and there's not enough good homes for the dogs. Chihuahuas are one of the top breeds put down in shelters because too many people are breeding them to make money. We need new laws limiting backyard breeders, and the laws need to be enforced.

@@alineanderson4320 In some states in Aus you have to be a registered breeder, that makes the dogs very expensive so cuts out a lot of good people buying but also cuts out the feral elements. There should be no back yard breeding. You buy a puppy it must be desexed at the appropriate time and microchipped and registered. This is fairly recent and I'm sure not 100% fail safe but I think it is helping.
