these guys do the same. They completely lack the gospel message, becoming a contemporary band with the word 'christian' tagged on to it. Read the lyrics they dont differ from any other contemporary band at all. Its all just about feelings and personal suffering, wow how original. These guys are signed to solid state records, not a christian label thats all Im gonna say.

WATG used to be that band that would preach or worship with their lyrics. Not with this album. This one is as bland as it could get lyrics wise.

EZ Assegai the majority of their songs do indeed have the Gospel Message, from The Father’s Bargain to Man Of Sorrows, the list goes on, they don’t need to have a song with lyrical depth all the time, a lot of their songs before this one have lyrical depth to them from both a Christian and biblical standpoint. So yes they are indeed a Christian Rock Band, and having a simple song such as this doesn’t necessarily make a song bad or less “original” because that word is thrown out there a lot.

@@jevonhilton2236 If you didnt know they claimed to be a christian band and the song titles werent there you would not be able to link any of their songs to christianity. If the songs do not contain christian lyrics there is not justification for using the christian labeling. Their songs are completely lacking christian identity. Their music is solid no doubt but they should come out already and admit they are a secular band.

EZ Assegai that’s what I’m saying, literally half if not the majority of their songs contains christian lyrics, I can name a good bit in my head. Hindsight, The Father’s Bargain, Man Of Sorrows, Dead Man, Slaves, Awaken, as I’ve said the list goes on and on.

Easily one of the best bands of the genre. They get better and better as time goes by. All the best for you, guys! Never stop making great music! The world needs you.

Joshua Curiale It would be “Christian Rock” essentially, considering their beliefs. I’m not saying that means an atheist or non-believer isn’t allowed to listen to it though.

This was a really powerful song and video to see this visual and how it shows that we are going through a lot in life and we feel like we don't need anyone in our lives and so we drift from those people who are trying to help us in life but we just want to deal with it on our own but we can't but we need something greater and we all need Jesus in our lives to help us through all the things in life and we need people to lean on to help us as well. CAPTORS was my favourite album by WATG till today but ECLIPSE is better.I get chills every time I listen to tracks like the cure, drifter, face to face, eclipse and response. Powerful lyrics, impactful screams, killer guitars, thumping drums and great balance between heavy and melodic parts. This album by far the best. I hope they continue making music for a long time.

I'm not religious but this song somehow still resonates with me. I don't know what exactly is it but music like this and other bands like My Epic strongly connect with me and tug at me. Like when I listen to it, the walls of my mind start to go down and I feel more free. They make me feel so small but it's comforting, like I feel like a child in a safe home; something I never truly was able to experience.

Looks like they're finally mixed properly after VxV and T&S being almost entirely flat and hollow sounding. So glad to hear some Captor and We are the Ones tones and depth returning. Nothing against the content of the other albums, they have always been engaging, encouraging, and uplifting. I just have sincerely missed the musical backing their early albums had. Seemingly, it is returning.

I just discovered this and just wow did I need that today ! Rock on!
