I remember being 7 years old when this show came out. Back then comics, cartoons and anime weren't mainstream like now. If you were into it you were picked on. Wolverine's line at 0:54 is what made him my favorite character and also stand up to being bullied. Thanks for posting.

Much of the cast was great in this. Loved Omega Red, Sabretooth, Wolverine, Apocalypse, Sinister, Magneto's voices.

I still remember this scene from nearly 30 years ago. I remember comparing the strength of Wolverine to Sabertooth. Sabertooth could launch Wolverine with one leg, but I was still impressed that Wolverine could launch Sabertooth with two legs. He was weaker, but effective. I never realized how unfair it was that Wolverine never gets to use his claws!

I was arguing that Wolverine had advantages in other areas that more less kept the fight between him and Sabertooth pretty even. I am a nuanced person and I argue the nuances of a typical situation.

Thank goodness this is not the 80s version of Sabertooth. He was an unthinking, remorseless murder machine full stop. Jubilee would have been torn to shreds without a thought. Making Sabertooth a sane brutal savage rather than an a rabid animal was be biggest nerf MARVEL ever gave him.

Leila Smith back then in the comics his healing factor wasn't this instantaneous thing that it is now, like he would heal fast but significant damage would take like 1/4 the time to heal bit still sideline him. it took him like a week or two to heal a sword stab through the torso, something that would take multiple surgeries and months to fix for a human

GREAT scene. But I also like the one where Xavier has Sabretooth strapped to a chair and says "There are still some recesses of his mind I have failed to penetrate...but I trust I will. In time." Wolverine: *Snikt!* I'LL penetrate his recesses!!!!"

You should hear Wolverine's theme in UMVC3.

Here's the fight summary. Wolverine jumps on ST, ST grabs W's arms, ST kicks W off, ST jumps on W, ST grabs W's arms, Xavier and other X-Men have some coffee, W kicks ST off, W rears back to use his claws, Xavier gives a "we must not seek revenge" speech, ST flings W with ST's claws, ST menaces W, Sparkle Girl tosses ST through the wall with sparkles. Why would they have to get W to the infirmary?
