I think you're going a little crazy with this “Worst Wolverine Ever…this Wolverine sucks” theory lol. You kinda lost me when you said “the worst fighter”…because from what I read before, and from some the scenes of Deadpool flying all over the place, he still looks like a badass lol. Here's my theory: 1) He was the “best there is” at one point…before Cassandra Nova takes Mysterio’s role, and brainwashes Wolverine into killing the X-Men. And humanity suffers because of it. So he's given up on everything. 2) Wolverine doesn't kill Dark Phoenix and Jean kills millions of people. So he blames himself and has given up on everything. I think one of those situations is more plausible than him just sucking.

I agree about this worst Wolverine theory, I'd say he easily could have been led astray to allow his timeline to die the same way Deadpool is being led astray to go on some mission for the TVA. Then you've got the TVA lying to Deadpool telling him that this Wolverine let his world down, which they could easily say about Deadpool if he's the anchor for his world and it somehow falls apart while he's not there because he's off doing what the TVA sends him to do.

Let's think things through: I assume that you're talking about the Old Man Logan possibility. One, they already did LOGAN…which featured a visibly older, run down Wolverine. They're more than likely not going to do an exact recreation of the original OML storyline. That's a firmly set in the main Marvel Universe story, featuring main Marvel universe characters…and a just slightly-older-than-LOGAN character. That story touches on some of the same exact notes as what happened in LOGAN and what's happening in this up-coming movie. What…they’re going to do a THIRD live-action Wolverine redemption movie in a second dystopian future for Wolverine, with an exact recreation of OML…after Wolverine gets in the main Marvel Universe lol? Seems redundant, correct? Second, THIS IS THE MULTIVERSE. Who's to say that the exact OML story doesn't still happen somewhere in the multiverse of literal endless possibilities…and this is just a universe where something similar happens? Third, If you pay close attention, they're already using aspects of OML in this movie. You see multiple graves in the trailer. You see a wasteland. You see the Red Skull’s car. You see nods to the Hulk in the trailer. One of the only differences is substituting wise-cracking Hawkeye for wise-cracking Deadpool. And Cassandra Nova is the perfect replacement for Mysterio. There's more of a personal tie-in…since she's the evil twin of a man who he considers a father figure…even though Wolverine is technically older. She can definitely use her powers to brainwash Wolverine, and there's less background set-up involved. In OML, there was a concerted effort from the Marvel villains to get together to hatch the plan to take down the heroes. They could simplify that here and have that as a plan hatched by Nova to take down the X-Men…leading to a huge Wolverine redemption arc when he finally saves the day and takes her down. You literally cannot tell me that's the stupidest idea you've ever heard, because there are too many ways that it works. It's just different from what you're familiar with. Every movie isn't meant to be an exact translation. There's literally nothing wrong with using aspects of a story in the books to tell a new story that works inside of your established movie-verse. ESPECIALLY when that established movie-verse is a multiverse. AND, with my idea, it ends with Wolverine becoming that hero that Deadpool was looking for, and saving the world before entering the main MCU. How is that a bad thing? I could also just be wrong. It's just a theory based on what I'm seeing and what I've heard.

I’m right alone with your theory. I’m also thinking Cassandra Nova in the Deadpool and Wolverine is actually a version that was good and that’s why she got pruned. I also think she’s going to show that version of Logan that he can be redeemed and help him and Deadpool escape the void. Because if you look at the part in the trailer where Deadpool and Wolverine are jumping through the portal, she’s in the background smiling almost as if she’s proud. I honestly think Paradox is the true villain and has Deadpool hunting down this variant of Logan because he’s made Deadpool think that Logan is the only way to save his universe, when in reality he’s just fucking with Deadpool’s head. Then Deadpool realizes and they both get pruned. That’s how Cassandra Nova comes into play, she’s the only person in the void that has knowledge on how to escape and helps them. They escape and end up in the MCU. 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk just a theory.

In Wolverine #900, Logan revealed his healing factor processes alcohol nearly as quickly as he can drink it, with a bottle of whisky only getting him tipsy for seconds. It seems Wolverine is capable of getting drunk, but only for an extremely short amount of time (unless he has a constant supply of alcohol.)

his immune system has nothing to do with his metabolism , he could still heal fast and get drunk , its only when hes damaged does he heal ,so he has to fuck his liver right up to heal lol so id imagine hes drinking 10 plus bottles of the strongest shit very quickly to get drunk and only when damage occurs does his heal kick in , unlike the flash where he has a sped up metabolism so he gets drunk for 2 secs and its gone also why he needs to eat so much or he passes out because he burns so much energy running ,its just like any regular human booze hound its takes years of consent drinking to do the real damage to ur liver

I don't think Deadpool will be reunited with his loved ones at the end of this movie I think he's going to join the MCU for a few movies until Secret Wars.

I'm thinking there are three possibilities: 1) He's the Logan from First Class that refused to help Professor X and Magneto and maybe that's why TVA says he's let his universe down. Deadpool is approaching Logan a short time after he refuses to help. 2) He didn't kill Dark Phoenix in The Last Stand and she killed a shitload of people. 3) He wasn't able to save the mutants from the Sentinals in Days of Future Past and the TVA is coming for him because he violated a time-travel law.

It's the Logan that went back in time during Days of Future past but he failed to prevent the end of the mutants. The TVA want him because he is in violation of Time.

Having an anti-hero variant of Wolverine will be far more interesting to watch than the same ol’ “boy-scout” version we have already seen for many years, and will also be more enjoyable for Jackman to portray… I wonder if, in the end, we will see DP “tame / domesticate” this ferrule variant and get him ready to save a different universe from an incursion; as an act of redemption… The scene with Wolverine near the headstones will most likely be on the astral plane, due to Cassandra Nova and her psychic powers… I almost feel like she is being set up as the Magneto of the void / post-incursion universe, who is gathering up the “brotherhood of evil mutants” that exist in this reality… Hell I wonder if this version of Wolverine is already on Cassandra Nova’s team, then DP inspires him to rebel against her… I also wonder if we will see all other DP / Wolverine variants die an ugly and grizzly death in “the void”, further expanding the notion that DP / Wolverine are cosmically linked or are anchors of their own multiverse existence…

He's the younger version of Wolverine from the Logan movie. In the Logan movie Professor X was getting alsthimizer, or what ever. And his physic backlash was killing massive amounts of mutants. When he first started doing it Wolverine was the only one who could survive being in close to him. He was suppose to kill Professor X to save mutantkind. He couldn't go through with it.

Have Yourself a Morlock Little X-Mas he caused the death of over 20 mutants who he could have saved but didn't

Jackman's great acting, is the only thing that could carry a concept like that. The reason I say that is because everyone knows Wolverine from the movies and I feel it would be very hard for any actor to escape the meta of acting as the same character but different. However, when you see Jackman, even in an interview, you can see that whatever he believes at that time, he throws his whole heart into it and invites everyone to join him. I'm not worried about Jackman's meta but good luck to ANY other talent around him in the movie. Ryan's a perfect Deadpool and I personally would pick Deadpool over Wolverine as a favourite character but I believe that Jackman's Wolverine is gonna carry this incredible movie.

My theory is that he didn’t kill Jean Grey in X-Men the Last Stand which lead to the death of the X-Men and many more. Maybe he eventually had to kill her, but initially didn’t. Or maybe he never did and she was killed by other means. But his inaction and reluctance to kill the woman he loves is his failure . He lacked the resolve to do what OUR version from X-Men the Last Stand did.

Hopefully this version of Wolverine is the MOST BAD ASS.

From the set leaks and rumors, it looks like they may run into the best versions of their characters (Henry Cavill Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds with long flowing hair.) Just a theory, but could tie in nicely with the topic of this video.

When I first saw your video man, I just started watching it and then I really got into it because what you’re saying my man is so true you’re saying something man the wolverine that we know that was super awesome is dead. This wolverine needs a redemption ark because he can be great too. He just doesn’t know it yet. That is beautiful man freaking cinema! Mind blown!

These are my thoughts. He told Mags and Prof. X to “F**k off!” And he from then just chose not to be involved. Then from that point him being founded for the Weapon X program is inevitable. So that means, in the Wolverine 2 movie, he gets the “suit” That 1. He never uses or used. Or 2. He joined the X-Men. Or the fact that each Wolverine from the first 2 Wolverine movies are variants. Leaving Days of Future Past, Wolverine is the same one from the first 3 X-men movies and the Logan movie are the same. But First Class, Apocalypse and Origins Wolverine are different versions.

I think he’s the Wolverine from DOFP and his timeline hormones cause he messed with time

He will be a better fighter though. Jackman is stated as having done his best combat scenes for this movie. Maybe it's a situation where he's really good but only fights if the price is right. He needs to get something out of it? I just think this version is going to be better combat wise....not worse.

I think youre over exaggerating the whole " Worst Wolverine Ever" angle. Its pretty obvious that this Wolverine is not one we have seen in the movies before. I also think its pretty obvious that for whatever reason he wasnt able to save his fellow mutants and is now beating himself up over it. Hence the drinking and the " Im not a hero" line. But he'll redeem himself by the end of the story. And there you go. Thats your Wolverine for this movie. Not hard to figure out.

All I can do is dream of a post credit scene of DP at TVA saying he did it he saved the MCU, then says actually just missint one thing, then DP opens a portal with a temp pad a seconds later returns with Tony Stark whose telling Wade if h3s nkt bqck before dinner Pepper will kill him, and DP looks at camera and says awkard. Just make it the same Wolverine from X-men origins and say it was an alternate universe. Nobody like that movie anyways and it would be ironic because Ryan Reynolds was in that movie too. Plus Stryker was a different actor and saber tooth was different than from the first x-men movie so it would make complete sense. Still basically the same wolverine except for a few different decisions he’s made. Maybe in that one he doesn’t kill Jean and she wipes out the world which leads to the messed up world they’re in now with not many survivors and that’s why everyone hates him.
