I've been a hairstylist. Most of my life, and I'm 56 now. I thought she did an amazing job! It's tough to cut your own hair. She did great!

I am dying to try this. but, I can't even get the parting right. My hair is long enough that if I mess it up then who cares it can be fixed. I'm 61 lol. Reclaiming my youth. Will I do it? Probably. Loved your video showing this. Really is the best one out there.

Try it out just with one big ponytail first and just get rid of the ends. If you still feel confident try half up and cut a little off.

@@ScottishAnnie Well I tried, Took about 6 inches of top and maybe a little more from the back. My hair is so straight though that you hardly notice it. Think I might try more soon. My son and daughter in law have got me a voucher for real hairdresser for my Xmas so whatever I do to it the expert will be able to fix it. I hope. If not, I'm 61 and care not a jot. lol

Hi there I saw her video first and loved the end result. I can’t afford to go to the salon at the moment so I decided to give it a go with your video and I’m glad I did cause I love the result. I know it wasn’t intended for people to try it at home but for someone who’s trying to save some money I have to say is a blessing :)

I had this style in high school and again about 15 years ago. My hair is bra length straight now except slight layers on front. I want this again!! Love flips and curls ❤ together!

Paul, I tried your Wolf Ponytail Cut a few days ago. My son had to help me with the back. It gave me a nice wispy front just like hers. I did cut a little too short. But, it still came out nice. I love this look. My hair is shoulder length,a little longer in back. straight hair on top, with wavy hair from my ears down...Will this cut look alright with a round face???

I went to a professional and ruined my hair, then I got home very upset and I did try your pony tail way and it was so much better even though it was shorter...but beautiful. It totally worked.

Loved your tutorial and this video and so eager to try it BUT, I have thick course hair that tends to be a little dry. I love the layered look but worried it may look like a hay stack when I'm done ... any tips or suggestions?

I have thick hair too so with the cut I bought off amazon, thinning shears. I trim from about the cheek bone down, about 3 trims per section all the way around, it helps take out the bulk thick hair carries.

Had she twisted her bangs before she cut them she would avoided cutting them uneven at the start.
