Wolf Cut on Wet Hair | Easy + quick tutorial 🐺🔪💘
Фильм және анимация
Hey internet friends,
Here is my super quick & easy Wolf Cut video. I've been doing a version of this cut for a while now, keeping my hair more or less the same length. This cut works super nicely with curly hair. As I just went blonde (then pink) a few days ago, my hair is extremely dry and pretty damaged from the bleaching process. Usually, when I go blonde, my curls pretty much disappear, so for styling, I blow-dry my hair every 3 days.
I didn’t cut off much this time, because I just cut off 10 cm (the exact same way) when I went blonde. Sooo, I didn’t want to go too short, but still wanted to show you the cut.
Hope you like this video, thanks for taking the time to watch it.
Xx, A

hey, thanks for the video :) I know it's been like two years but how do you maintain this hairstyle? I have a wolf cut and my hair keeps growing and I need to trim it, do I do it the same way you did? because the ends look good it's just that the new hair on top is straight and not layered.

Yes, this was a maintain cut for me as well. You can do only the first two steps (so have 3 parts but only 2 ponytails for the top and mid sections), then leave out the bottom section if you don't want any length off. Hope this helps :)

thanks, I'll try that since my stylist takes like 25 euros which is a lot if you get it trimmed every month,by the way, what products did you use back then? sea salt spray? your hair looks amazing@@ange_lalalalalalala

@@KetchupBottle1235 No products, my hair is curly naturally, so if I do a blow-dry, it has texture without anything. But a good texturizing spray or mousse never hurts :)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
I love this cut on you. Will this cut work with straight thin hair?

Hey Kim, thanks 🙂 The thing with layers is that they need volume to work well (in my opinion). I’ve worked in a hair salon and I’ve seen many women with fine, straight hair or some with hair loss. I think the best cut for thin, straight hair is a blunt bob or lob (long bob) with some texture at the bottom. Something like this: pin.it/56MIGcx Because you’d want a cut that’s easy to style. If you get a wolf cut, you will most likely need to blow dry it with a bunch of products to make it look how you’d want it, and that just seems like too much hustle, and your hair might not even be able to hold the volume for more than a few hours. BUT at the end of the day, it’s your decision, and you could start with softer layers, not take off too much length and see how your hair behaves. If it doesn’t, it’s just hair: it will grow back! 🙃🙃🙃

@@ange_lalalalalalala Thank you so much. I live in south Florida so I live in a lot of humidity. You are correct. This haircut would not work but it looks amazing on you.
Recommend to do this on curly hair 3b? Haha

100%!!! My hair in its healthiest state is between 3a-3b, and this cut is probably the best cut for such curls (in my opinion). But I'd cut it dry, and make sure to keep in mind the shrinkage, so start longer, then you can always go back and cut off more length if you want to. Cut, wash, style & dry. Once it's done, you can just hold up pieces and snip off the ends if you want them to be shorter. 🙂
