They probably are because I’m sure they helped her write her speech. It should’ve been the parents getting up there and speaking and not making their 14-year-old child do it the point is if she did it on her own that would be one thing but parents don’t need to put this shit on their children, and we all know that’s what happened

I was a university professor for 10 years (quit the diploma mill the 23/24 academic year) and you’re so right, they are fed up to the back teeth. They want nothing to do with the SJW nonsense and they HATE teachers and admin. They’ve been so grievously abused and let down that it takes about a month to let them know respect is a mutual exchange and I don’t expect blind obedience and ass licking. My ego is fine and I don’t need to use kids for clout or validation; just here to teach. It’s heartbreaking. Aside from fed up, they’re also ill educated on the basics. This is university, I can’t teach 250 kids in lecture basic comprehension, grammar, any of it. We actually hired an educational psychologist because too many kids are functionally illiterate and innumerate and we don’t know what to do. It’s a mess. If you’re able, and comfortable, take your kids out. This environment is toxic to them.
