Lebron and AD are putting up great numbers. It’s their teammates and injuries. Ham runs weird lineups too. Also the Lakers don’t have a dominant center. AD is a PF at heart. Other teams have solid centers which is what really kills the Lakers is inside the paint defense. Of course all yall say the same thing though. “It’s Lebums fault.” “ESPN is losing their minds.” It’s just a bad roster that didn’t have a chance to grow like other rosters.

No. It’s rebounding. Y’all be saying anything without doing a true assessment. DEN mauled LA the first 3 games 280-247 FGA, that’s 10-15 more shots per game on average 145-118 Total Rebounds 38-18 Offensive Rebounds. Game 4 Lakers protected the boards 87-93 46-53 8-9 Whoever controls the boards is likely to win. LAL down 3-1 but been leading 75% of the time played. That’s crazy. If they stay organized and eliminate the unforced mistakes, especially the mental lapses like g2, DEN has no real edge. DEN has to close g5 or it’s going 7 and all momentum is with LAL.

Yes, Perk, it is also a Rob problem, Rob should have moved on from AR/DLo, but since Rob didn't make a change, it is up to the Coach to manage their minutes. Coach finally did a little minutes management, Den did not score as much, and AR/DLo finally won their match ups. Game 5 Coach will have to manage better, b/c Den will play better.

Late in the season the lakers had a group of guys on the court that literally never played together all season, in a game where there were lots of olayoff implications. They have struggled with rotations all season long. There are players who are missing a ton of shots and seem to barely get any consequences for it. There have been many complaints about not utilizing his resources like timeouts appropriately. Not saying that ham holds all the fault by any means but its not like hes building a brand new team and its the first part of the season. Its the playoffs and the team has identity issues at times as well as accountability issues. Thats one of the things a good coach can crack down on. Got to look at the details and think is what theyve done 'because of' or 'in spite of' darvin ham.

They talking like Ham is a very good consistent coach so far lol . That issue which happened with rotations mid December to mid January is why the Lakers are 7th seed and having to face Nuggets in 1st round . Go see that 1 month stretch where Ham made some worst rotations and an article was reported at that time of locker room not happy with Ham's rotations. He is learning on the fly and that's not enough for winning championship.. DLo(Game1, 3), Reaves(1,3) and Rui (Game 1-3) especially could have played so much better and agree on that part players have to do better but Ham's job is on the line because of sheer inconsistencies through the season. Not being animated in sidelines either like other good coaches and just standing and watching.

If you subtract the minutes but add to the extra bang regardless if he can handle it or not it still destroys the notion of conserving him for the playoffs because you are playing him out of position with the extra discomfort of the banging. The biggest lakers problem is that they treat lebron as a second star. He is too old for defense. If he was ever good at all. He needs to be distributing and the 3rd star on a contender. I'd take Aaron Gordon over him currently. Way fewer mistakes.

Gordon is like the 4th option on his team so that wouldn’t win anything either.

Don't forget the Westbrook failed experiment so they did try to bring in a third star LeBron wanted him that hurt the Lakers they traded the remaining young talent they had Davin ham is in a no win situation its so easy to say trade Reeves and Russell I doubt it will work when this team's future is in doubt with James nearing the end at this point they have to think about a full rebuild

The major problem is that the coach of this team is always under the thumb of lebron so he can’t be too hard on him ever even when bron is underperforming bc then he’ll get fired regardless until that narrative changes it won’t matter who the coach is but just from a coaching standpoint darvin ham sucks tho so yea get him out

Nah ESPN trying to paint Ham as an unfair scapegoat is crazy!!!😂 Yes the players have to perform but has anyone watched how poorly he has coached all year long? You have to be kidding me he’s cost them at least 5 games over the season from bad clock management and having this infatuation with waiting until the ENTIRE lead they built has dwindled before he calls a TO…..this guy is not a coach he’s an assistant maybe. Just too many rookie mistakes, he doesn’t challenge the out of bounds play that matters but does challenge a random call at the end of a game you’ve already lost 😆 if Ham gets fired after 1 season it’s deserved no doubt. Now the Rob Pelinka issue is a bigger one, he should have been fired roughly 3 years ago. This man let Dwight Javale Caruso KCP Kuzma ALL walk when they had the best defense in the league and a top 10 offense. Why!!? Oh Lebron was hobbled and AD was out, you lose to phoenix ok it happens LETS REGROUP! What does he do? Drops a nuke on the entire team and then tries to convince the world it’s Lebrons fault his master plan was fkn Westbrook😂 and Pat Bev and……..?………nothing, no center or shooters or defensive guards or bench or anything. Fire both Rob Pelinka and Ham then sell the team please because Jeannie’s ownership is the next biggest issue tbh.

Perk once again spewing nonsense with no idea what he's talking about. Darvin Ham isn't him and to be honest I've been reading articles about doing a sign and trade of LeBron to OKC and getting back some nice young talent and 1st round picks. If OKC is actually interested and they can get a deal done Palinka has to at least make it a viable option. LeBrons not getting younger, we could use draft capital and the circus that comes along with him going somewhere else would be a calming factor for this franchise.
