    You can say this about just about every single athlete of a certain color that gets paid big money in the last 7 years or maybe more. They get their guaranteed money then conveniently get an injury that sidelines them for games/weeks/months. And it's been pointed out multiple times by espn talking heads how athletes will have the same injury yet some play while others sit out (aka the injury isn't real) the players/teams are just doing B.S. to sway betting and gameplanning. It's a a fake ans self serving machine.

    I wish people would realize that trying to put super stars together in any sport does not work most of the time. There is enough history on this stuff. You need good complimentary players along with a couple of stars. We don't talk about this enough in sports, especially basketball. I can't believe GM's and owners are still doing this stuff. This putting stars together crap ends up failing a good majority of the time.

    Kawhi has been a Clipper for 5 seasons. During that time he is avg over 30ppg in the playoffs. Unfortunately he has played in a total of FOUR playoff games the past 3 seasons. The extension in 2021 made sense. The one he signed January does not. Clips bit themselves in the azz this time

    The Clippers currently are just a team worth watching during the regular season to be honest. I'll admit I enjoyed watching some of their highlights this past season, but I'm glad I never chose to be a Clipper fan. If it isn't injuries that ruin their chances of playoff success, it's blown series leads. Most of their team is 30+ so they clearly need to focus on acquiring younger talent this off-season.

If we talk about injury, Leonard was also injured in the 2019 playoffs at least in the conference finals and nba finals) but all that diminish the Raptors title always skipped that part. With the injuries factor, then the Warriors won the 2015, 2017 and 2018 titles because of Irving, Leonard and Paul injuries while lost the 2016 finals because of Curry injury so any title could be diminished in the same way as the Raptors title.
