The classic metalcore sound the world has been missing is back and it sounds amazing. Feels like 2010-2014 again. Never cared much for Michaels screams because imo back then they didn’t sound special to me but now they sound amazing. Huge improvement. The irony of saying I’m “gate keeping” is delicious while you yourself seem to “gate keep” your entire opinion. My whole point is this. True metal core was in its prime from the early to mid 2000s. Record labels like Ferret, Trustkill, Solid State and Victory were the catalyst for everything out today. I think you have a different interpretation of what actual metal core is. Norma Jean, From Autumn to Ashes, Poison the Well are just a few of the true metal core bands. In closing, just because you know nothing about the scenes history doesn’t mean you can just discredit it because it was before your time, asshat.

Metalcore was missing this level of energy. Glad that they came back after a decade and still sound fresh.

This song isn't even as good as A Voice Of Hope off the Stand Up ep let alone Fame > Demise, Vengeance, and most of the songs on Genesi[s].

I relate to what the writer feels in that lyrics “say it say it, your lies make us believers”.

I literally had to do a double take when my friend sent me this.. never thought I'd hear from these guys again!

The heaviest Woe is Me song to date. Shit was amazing. Brutal vocals and a dynamic intro made me start the song over in 30 seconds
