Make first regiment of secular estate. 6. Unified Punjab and start culture of twaifs and Punjabiyat. 7. He started trade world wide and make punjab as a textile industry. 8. He introduce regimes of Unified schools under Qaidas. 9. Under his rule he translated Quran in Punjabi in both Gurmukhi and shahmukhi( Which is present in Fakir azezudin succesors). 10. He make Punjab as a Superpower and make a world best tourist place . 11. No person in his rule was under poverty line.

When we were traveling in Northern Pakistan in 2017, our driver told us about Syed Ahmed Shaheed Mizar. I have been to his Mizar in Bala kot. 😃

Thank you for sharing this history. Most of what you present I think is true. I have a few doubts. 1. Satti system - I believe when Sikh religion came to India, the sikh gurus strongly opposed the Satti system. Since Ranjit Singh himself was a sikh, its hard for me to believe that his wives killed themselves after he died. 2. When you talk about Ranjit Singh health started deterioating and how those ailments lead him to death. I have heard that it was the british that poisoned Ranjit Singh.

From the dark shadows of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Era(1780-1839) !!! ● Ranjit Singh's army desecrated Lahore's Badshahi Mosque and converted it into an ammunition store,and horse stables.Lahore's Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque) was converted into "Moti Mandir" (Pearl Temple) by the Sikh army,and Sonehri Mosque were converted into a Sikh Gurdwara, but upon the request of Sufi Fakir (Satar Shah Bukhari), Ranjit Singh restored the latter back to a mosque. Lahore's Begum Shahi Mosque was also used as a gunpowder factory, earning it the nickname Barudkhana Wali Masjid, or "Gunpowder Mosque." ● In 1820 the demographically Muslim Kashmir state was occupied by the tyrant, and Sikh ruler, Ranjit Singh (1780-1839), under who's regime non-Sikhs were widely persecuted; eating beef was banned and the repair of non-Sikh religious buildings was forbidden. Sikhs for example were the first "bigoted rulers" who introduced forced labour into Kashmir, who also banned "muezzins call to prayer, closing many mosques, making cow slaughter punishable by death" and "nearly" destroyed "the Shah-i-Hamdan mosque".Singh also "razed mosques and built Gurdwaras in their place" and buried the Quran in their doorways. ●If you ask any punjabi muslim he would tell you that his ancestors or caste fought bravely against sikhs. Islam came thousand year before Sikhism. So it's wrong perception that punjabi muslims belong to sikhs. Muslims were already present before sikhs. May be some muslim mercenaries have joined sikh army but overall sikhs didnt entertain muslim presence in their army. During ranjeet singh rule, many restrictions and bans were imposed on muslims. It was routine for sikhs to hang muslims in chowks to keep them subjugated and terrorized. - Azaan was banned for muslims - Cow slaughter was banned, it was punishable by death. - Many mosques were demolished, tombs and buildings of mughals were plundered - Sikhs were particularly harsh on mullahs, many of them were caught and hanged. ● So.... Pakistani Muslims aren't concerned with the ranjit singh's statue and strongly condemn it's display outside fort lhr by some private organisation.
