Being an Indian, this is perhaps the first Pakistani serial I watched on Netflix and finished all 23 episodes within two days. A Brilliant Creation where each human emotion is touched with such grace . Fawad and Mahira did complete justice to their roles. Fawad’s acting is like poetry in motion and Mahira is equally good. Loved the way each character has been shown with different shades of grey and never really black and white.. Just like in real life.. There was never a moment where these two were not able to tug at the heart strings. Possibly one of the best features I have ever watched.. God bless and hope to see more ..👍👍

Onek information apni ami janina ajo. 1947-1970, ei history bhalo korey janar cheshta korben neutral point of view theke; some grey areas are there. Not only this, think also about the fact that Both India-Pakistan were under British rule for nearly 200 years till 1947. So what should be the situation of a new country (eastern part) that was severely affected by British looting and some wrong decisions made by the muslims during the British rule? That affected our total education system and in turn affected our human capacity development over a long period of time. We bengalis were not ready to run an administration system right after 1947. Please don't get emotional but try to think objectively. Here actually the political exploitation and external influence took place to create civil unrest at a very initial stage. West Pak miserably failed to tackle that situation and went for reactive measure without doing much homework. Bhutto administration did the major damage as well.

To create this whole scene India played a great role to partition & segregate east pakistan (Bangladesh) and west pakistan(today pakistan). Can't forget the day, 16th of December 1971 when I was hitting the wall in gripping grief, in student hostel at Aston University Birmingham , England. Still Bangladesh is part of our body and soul. Love Bangladesh. My Bahu Abeda is from Bangladesh. InshaAllah will be visiting Bangladesh, still my East Pakistan in my dreams, soon. Mistakes were made by both sides. No one side is to be blamed. May Allah create same love in our hearts for each other and we remain loving each other like two separated blood brothers. Amen.

Plus as one nation it makes perfect sense to establish one national language so that everyone can communicate with each other easily - Urdu is a nice language which is a mixture of Hindi Farsi and Arabic plus their alphabets were in Arabic. But no we rather sticked with Hindu inspired language Bengali and made a huge fuss out of it! That's not really working together is it??

This ghazal was written in 1971 by Naseer Turabi, expressing his sadness and sorrow of the secession of East Pakistan now Bangladesh.

India and Pakistan are like brother. Kaash hum sab ghoomte ek doosri ki country me. 🙏🙂🥺. Beautiful song and Pakistan drama are also good. On zindagi channel I had seen all Pakistan I drama. But now I really missed it. 🥺🙏

The profound love and heart wrenching reality of the song often makes me cry with tears of sorrow, despair and guilt..the thought makes me shudder when I think about the people's feelings in 1971...we miss u n love u brother and sisters of East pakistan ( now Bangladesh )...it's very tender for me as a west pakistani...I hope u will forgive us I didn't know that this gazal was written on the agonising event of fall of Dhaka...i.e the most throbbing event in PAKISTANs history
