This made me want to fix my Feilun ft012 and take it for run. It's pretty fun to run boats every now and then. Nice video mate 😊

@electricnitrorc Nice! The problem I was having here with the flipping was caused by the battery velcro not being secure enough. I switched it out for the dual lock stuff and it's solid now 👍

Yeah it's something different, but I like the atmosphere and the sounds of the water. It's a regular boat, a submarine, and sometimes an airboat 😆

Boats are fun but I’m too old to be swimming after one 😂, flying is fun but trees don’t like me, road cars are fun until the curb moves in the way! Happy rcing my friend thanks for the videos of the boat!

Lol glad you enjoyed that one 😁 I got some upgrade parts on the way and a little rescue craft, so hopefully this never happens again.. also picked up a pair of low voltage alarms 👍

Those flips, nightmare, hoping the moving of the battery will stop that from happening.

Yeah that was a scary lesson, but it fixed the issue. I was trying to flip it toward the end there, and it wouldn't do it. A bit stressful this time, but still had fun

Always take a rescue boat. I must admit I've seen some boats with an extended rudder up top. So if it flips and there's no self right you can still steer it and use it as a swamp boat! 😂

The fake outboard actually gave me some steering so I was able to get it back without getting wet 😁 ..but I actually just got one of those amphibious boat/plane things I'm converting to a rescue boat. Just got home with the PVC and glue to make the arms for it, so hopefully I'll have a test video up today. Lesson learned, and I'm curious to see if this little thing works like I think it will 🙂👍

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 Yeah I tried a rescue boat idea today, and it ended up with me having to wade out in chest deep water with a gator watching me 😁 not fun.. but I'll just build up a PVC rig like all the other guys have and be done with it. It was a bit discouraging, but I'm not giving up

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 Thankfully not, but it was looking that way. There was a bit of current there that carried the boat out and separated the two. I was able to drive the rescue back to shore 👍

I have had good experience with a octura v937 prop on my tunnels put a small amount if cup on the leading edge will definitely get you more speed SCBG4L

It comes 3S stock, but the battery is a measly 20c discharge. That's why I was kinda surprised it wasn't even 20mph. The box claims 28+ 😆 still a fun little boat though

@@RallyandTrail Yeah that would be wild mode.. I just don't think throwing 4S at a 30A ESC would be good. I'd definitely need to upgrade that first, and a motor that can handle it. I am looking at getting some CNHL 1500mah 100c packs though. They are rated for 200c burst, so that should give a significant boost to top speed👍

And thats why i prefer Deep Vs with self right.. good luck..

@zman5727 I was about to get that one, but I see the hull has some weaknesses. Likes to shatter over 50mph but I guess that can happen with anything.

looks like the Mad Flow F1 V3. what kind of propeller do you have there exactly?

Thanks! It looks better with the Heatwave decals now 👍 I'm running the stock prop in this vid. It's just a 29mm 1.4p which I think is too small. I just put on a 32mm 1.4p aluminum prop from Offshore Electrics, but haven't tested it yet. Need to finish my recovery boat or find a shallow pond and run it close to shore

You do know the Mah is run time not power, right? Why did you say you are going to have to stick with 1500's? If you upped the Mah you will get longer run times, try a 5200 or 5600 3s And you can run for at least 45 minutes.

Yes, I know mah is runtime, thanks. The boat would sink with a 5200 though. I want it faster, not long run time 👍
