thank you for this idk why but i hadn't considered this, like people die all the time and sometimes so much shit left undone and it's out of nowhere. his death hit me so hard as he's one of my fav comedians and honestly kinda shaped my sense of humor but like rather than being sad that it happened as soon as it seemed like they were getting back together be glad he was probably so happy him and his best friends were hanging out on a constant basis again like the good ol days. makes it a bit sweeter, still bittersweet as fuck tho rip local sexpot

@@teh117specifically, the night he died, he was having a great time with Zach on the livestream. From my understanding, Zach was his “best” friend in the group (or at least, the friend he knew the longest and spent the most time with). He also mentioned that they had delayed the livestream that night because Trevor was watching his son while his wife was out of town. It’s tragic, but there is a sweetness to the fact that his final hours were spent with two of the three people he loved most in this world

Out of all the people I've ever looked up to, Trevor was one of the most human, and by that, I mean that I could always tell that he was true to himself, both in his comedy as well as in his life, My best friend and I started making KZread videos at 13, just for fun, because we watched WKUK and thought it was the best thing we'd ever seen, and we wanted to be like you guys. I couldn't imagine any of these guys just being gone one day, and the news was the most heartbreaking thing I've ever read, I can't think of another comedian or celeb that has ever affected me in this way. My heart goes out to the guys and to his family, please please guys keep on keepin' on. I can't imagine a world without WKUK. RIP to a Legend.

God damn man. This reply was how I found out. I'm a little older than you, 18 or 19 when season 1 came out. And while they were a little older than me, I felt like they were the first of "my generation" that was on TV and that represented me and my friends. I was so looking forward to whatever they had coming next. This channel, it really felt like they were building to something. But now. . . This sucks. He was a true legend. RIP.

I was watching a clip and saw him in the audience at a big roast. Like 3 frames of film time and he was the funniest guy in the room.

This is a very sad day for all the fans, friends, and family. Rest in peace Trevor. The Whitest kids we all know truly brought so much joy, happiness, and laughter to all of our lives. The memories will live on in all of us forever.

RIP Trevor, You were one of the funniest people I've ever seen and were a big inspiration to my sense of humor, coming home from high school and watching WKUK on IFC was always my favorite part of the day and while I didn't know you it's still heartbreaking to hear that you're gone. I hope you're up in heaven singing to God about child brides.

I feel for all the people that are hurting losing this amazing man. I really do hope the rest of the guys recover over time and continue with the talk about series. They really are fantastic and would be a great way to remember Trevor. I also hope the new movie comes out in some new form, I know it would be weird without Trevor but I also think you could rewrite it to pay tribute to him. I would still love to see it and I think a lot of other people would love to see it as well.

My roommate freshman year of college introduced me to Whitest kids and ive loved the humor since. Trevor was an angel, he could put a smile on your face and make you laugh in some of the darkest times. Much love and support to all and his family!

It feels superficial to talk about my mourning for a man I never met. All of us longtime WKUK fans have immense love for the whole squad but we all have a special place in our hearts for Trevor. I know we're all asking ourselves the same question right now: "Why couldn't it have been Sam?!". Jokes aside, I'm absolutely shattered and I know anyone bothering to scroll through all of these comments to feel less alone is shattered in the same exact way. We'll all be here for each other but there's no way to make this hurt less right now. I always wanted to meet him and tell him that he's a fucking bastard for making that founding fathers rap about ten years back. I had been writing my own version at the same time called "G-Wash and T-Jeff: Gangsters of Time" but I was a lazy 18 year old stoner without the means to get it finished before him and bothering to do it after would've just made me seem like a copycat. I did have a line written for Benjamin Franklin that would've made mine better than his, though. It went like "MY NAME'S BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, AND I'MMA B-FRANK WITCHA." I bet that dead piece of shit is wishing he'd thought of that first, too. Again, I'm totally kidding. I just feel the need to try to crack some shitty jokes right now. The only reason I was even writing similar material to that comedic genius is because of how immensely he shaped my sense of humor. I'll forever be grateful to Trevor, Zach, Timmy, Darren, and I guess to Sam too. I showed the hot dog skit to my mom recently and she said "Son, this guy has your same sense of humor." and I said "No, mom. I have his." She even remarked at how similarly we look and act and I said "You seriously don't know how much that means to me, you 'ole bitch." Trevor will live on in the hearts, minds, and dicks of anyone who has ever laughed at one of his jokes, used his comedy as a tool for catharsis, or masturbated to his sickly, gaunt physique in the Supersize Me With Whiskey skit. We love you, Trevor.

My mom used to tell me I wasn’t allowed to watch Trevor and WKUK because it was inappropriate, but I watched them anyway, because he made me laugh in ways no one else has. RIP, Trevor. You truly impacted my life 😔

WKUK is one of the main contributors of my sense of humor. I started watching them when I was 11/12 when the first season was being released. I loved them then. Love them more now. Trevor, I’ve loved your work and creativity for many years. I remember when I was a kid during the summer staying up until 7 or 8 in the morning so I could be awake to watch The WKUK airing in the early morning. I just showed a friend of mine some of the old WKUK sketches yesterday and didn’t learn of your passing until today. I appreciate all of the humor and joy that you’ve contributed to the world.
