Honestly, I hate the mobs that cast: Earthquake, fortify, earthquake, efreet, ice giant, and death ninja pigs are the worst.

Every mob in dragonspyre was annoying lol. Don’t forget the deep spawns in khrysalis with the enfeeble spamming

Idk if this existed back when you made this but number one above even the protection pox is Kembaluung Village's Master Tonkatsu's minions: Spirit, Mind, and Body bowls. They are the embodiment of everything we hate in mobs: they weakness, smoke mantle, donate pips, heal, shield, blade, EVERYTHING to help the already overpowered boss. This fight is IMPOSSIBLE at the appropriate level and prolly impossible before level 50, yet offered to level 25 wizards.

Any first arc mob of the opposite school from Marleybone-Dragonspyre. Fighting Balance and Ice enemy duos makes me want to scream.

Fighting balance enemies on a balance was the absolute worst, especially before hydra, but they're still stupid because you don't have a multihit that can actually do damage to them

The original obsidian chest quest 100% the hardest ever.

I think most of your list was on point, however their are a lot of mobs in the game that are just so much worse than the avalon mobs you picked. For starters, storm penguins in Polaris shield against ice and fire and are just overall upgraded storm minions from other worlds. They start with 7-8 pips and can storm lord round one, leviathan round one, or even sirens round 2! What a pain to deal with! But besides for that, great video!

For me it is those storm minions in empyrea that not only ice and fire shield, but also enfeeble me so much, they also critical almost every attack.

The fire crabs at the start of Celestia were a nightmare. They were a part of a kill and collect quest, and the drop rate for this was dreadful. They dropped one every 10 or so mobs, meaning that you could get a full group of 4 people, get max crabs and still not get a single drop, and the task require 4 of these items. Then later in the Grotto you needed to kill another group of them for an information, and the drop rate was still as bad. They also had some really high damage for mobs at this stage. It really put a bad taste in my mouth when starting Celestia.

@@nickg5341 yeah i did side quests and i did wintertusk. for example my ice and life wizs are currently 62 and 63 in the beginning but i am having a much easier time

The Polaris fire ogre thingies. All they do is use choke, efreet, and mantles.

When you are a life or death wizard and myth mobs use myth imp to dispel you. Especially in Wintertusk and Celestia.

in dragonspyre the 2 mob fights to unlock the door before malistare spam weakness and earthquake imagine doing that solo or even duo at the level you should be

I promise you none of these mobs compare to numbskull ogres in the river of frozen tears. They spam efreet every chance they get and 10/10 make me cry.

Yeah but literally only had to fight them once in the story if you had a big group, twice if you soloed it, and potentially more if you did the side quests so overall it wasn’t horrible. I found if you were a fire just mass prism, then enchant meteor and hit. Usually they wouldn’t Efreet on their first hit, and even if they do, you can usually have another meteor set up to hit quickly to finish them off

I've never seen such a more relatable video. The greyhorn mercenaries want to make me slit my own throat because of how many times you fight them.

My mom walked in right as you were saying, “penetration...f**k!” She was hella worried about what I was watching😂

I remember I soloed the protection pox by killing mavra then summoning a minion and just leaving the computer for around half an hour. I just didn't want to deal with them lmao

wow lol immediatley when i saw this video i immediatley thought of frost bones i remember back soloing wintertusk at lvl 40 and those were an absolute pain

river of frozen tears the Numbskull ogres in polaris. 3 of them for 1 wizard a battle they spam smokescreen, have a 0 pip -45 accuracy, choke (stun), shift grendel -25 to -65 accuracy, and on top of that can efreet you. All in all this mob made me rage quit for 3 hours.

Moon is comprised of: ice, death, and myth. Sun is fire, storm, and life. That's why I think these certain wizard classes should be able to use power pips with them.

I remember doing the thunderhorns on my ice, that was a struggle. Stun, shield, and still no prism.

Green men was a real nitghmare when you're only lvl 25 even for storm it was a wall to down.

I hated those greenman too, if I remember correctly, I had to kill them like 24 times to get their stuff....

Honestly this list holds up quite well, theres a few questionable entries but all in all, great video and explanations. Would like to see an updated version of this!

Honestly I hate the Azteca mobs they are a nightmare to me for collecting quests I hate it but I rushed that quest to get over it I killed every single azteca mob for a collect quests and it was ridiculous some barely give the items for quests which is a pain 😐

Arc 1 myth and storm enemies are virtually harmless but the second you reach arc 2 is when they become a threat because myth enemies will almost always have earthquake and storm enemies will almost always have Leviathan

Me: Ugh, alright i've defeated those *tower shield spamming* mobs, we done here? Npc: Yes, thank you for giving me these stolen goods. Npc: Now defeat them again. Me: But why... Npc: Because screw em.

omg i have specific memories of the green men being so horrible for me to do when i was leveling up my death wizard and they weren’t dropping anything it made me wanna log off

Those wisps, I just put poisons on them. Made it pretty clean tbh. Poison kinda makes my solo death experience a lot nicer. Just anti shield.

Could you make a small series out of this, like top 3 or 5 most annoying mobs in wizard city, then krokotopia and so on?

For me the most annoying mobs are hands down the ice crabs in the Grotto (Celestia). Those mfs were literally IMPOSSIBLE for my lvl 44 (at the time) balance to solo because of the stun, tower shield, and blizzard spams. It was so bad that I spent 2 hours just trying to kill 1 crab since I was dying over and over again. I swear I was seriously starting to go insane.

those one mobs in zafaria in the drum jungle where it's near impossible to get past them without being pulled

The Pampero spirits shocked me with how much health they had. They still do, but they used to have 5600 health pre nerf if you didn't know. They also used to start with 6 power pips before as well. Because of that, sometimes I would get hit with 2 storm owls first turn, lol.

Most of these I remember having a pretty easy time with (to be fair I was an overleveled storm, so I took out most basic mobs pretty easy). But those frost bones where so stupid with how much they're spam shields.

The black tusk cultist's in Drum Jungle were so annoying because I would always get pulled by them and it's also just annoying for a death wizard.

I'm am shocked that you were able to narrow it down to just 10 with all the annoying mobs 😂 how did you manage to do that

Actually the top 10 will always be myth mobs. Hands down. Earthquake makes me anxious all the time.

omg the frostbones.i remember going in as a level 50 and i died like 3 or 4 times before i could even win one fight with them. i only won when i got someone else to do it with me. such a horrible introduction to wintertusk, totally turned me off from the world and actually made me delay starting wintertusk for weeks because i hated them so much. hands down the hardest part of the world (except for that FOUR BOSS FIGHT AT THE END THAT CAME OUT OF ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE??? I HAD TO GET A LEVEL 130 TO DO IT WITH ME BECAUSE IT WAS SO BAD)

If I had a crown for every time I heard “guys” from your videos, I would have bought my way through all of wizard city by now.

I thought the ogres in River of Frozen Tears (Polaris) would be on here. I hated them so much since every round they spam smoke screens and efreets :( Edit: Numbskull ogre, what they're called if you want to see for yourself

The Loremaster’s Font of Weakness might only appear once but man if that isn’t one of my most feared mobs in the game. It’s the true boss of that fight.

@@FormalPhantom The drop rate is about 20% making them one of the worst drop rates in game, plus you can only have one per battle, and they are pretty tanky with their health. Some of my characters got it like first or second try while other get it after 10-15 battles. So pretty frustrating for some people.

@@randomexpress866 Well that was nothing compared to the green men. Imagine having to collect an item with about the chance of the charred knife but 4 freaking times. As a mob that also casts weakness doesn't help too. Took me about 30 battles I think, before I got all the stuff. When I quested with my death wizard, and since they also cast death shields, I loathe these mobs.

My number one was the water-matons in celestia. They wouldn’t stop using -80 death shields and I have ptsd of it

I know the pain of soloing the protection pox...even as death it was sooooo annoying and difficult, and i have those memories VIVIDLY....not fun

Protection px i will never forget them i soloed them first time and it took me more than hour to figure out that i have to kill them first before the boss navra

The storm goblins are worsen then night goblins. They spam wild bolt. And at low lvl you die in most cases. They also are a collect quest. And it’s completely rng

came here because i'm half way through safari and i swear i've had to fight them like 5 times

My highest level character is a good bit into Zafaria and I don't see the difficulty in literally any of the mobs you mentioned before that point. The protection poxes? I simply tempested, which removed all shields and killed the poxes and then single target hit the boss. Got through it on my first try. I don't get it.

There is a stronger variant of the frost bones in Nastrond which has 2.1k health, which I think are even harder.

What do you think of the Shadow Creatures of Zanadu? They are DEMONIC SPIDERS. In case you don’t know what I mean, it means(by definition of TV Tropes) they are too strong for one’s tolerance. When they hit, they hit monstrously, not helped by their Shadow attacks, which they will have little to no issue with. When they cast those spells, I have Markiplier screaming in the back of my head. Same with the Dream Morganthes. You cannot HOPE to mind your own business, because no matter how close you try to catch up to your friends, they WILL catch you, and the fights take so long, and they’ll hurt you so much you’ll have to use almost all of your potions. That is my recent experience. No other mob has tested my patience not counting bosses.

I’m surprised you didn’t include any storm bitches from Polaris who think it’s illegal for you to blade and just spam enfeeble

@@FormalPhantom like you know you learn a new spell, or spells in each world right? So rank the worlds based on how good those spells you learn in each world are. For instance, wizard city- level 1-10 spells, krok- level 10-20 spells, marley-level 20-30 spells, mooshu- level 30-40 spells, Dragonspyre-level 40-50 spells, Celestia- astral spells up to level 60, and so on, considering all the spells you learn in-between such as level 12, 48, 118 spells and such. I can make a full list if you wanna commit
